One reason I chose these over the echo frames or other ones is the frames can be swapped out. You can see the hinges that are relatively similar to regular glasses and I did just that because I wanted my normal prescription glasses to be the base for these. Sure enough when I got them the hinges matched up identical to my own frames and anyone thats ever had to use glasses repair kits would know exactly how to swap these on their own frames.

I can already hear the devs. "That's not what it was meant for you destroyed the warranty blah blah blah" yeah and I took a $150 gamble to do this and they work exactly the same way on my own frames as they do on yours.

As for the actual product itself I've been wearing these straight for about a month now. The intention was to have something tell me I get notifications or phone calls up front without having to look at my phone. A vibrating phone never worked for me I just don't feel it in my pocket and in a loud area or if I'm doing something moving around alot I don't hear notifications at all.

So having the notification sound in the frames mimmic exactly what my phone does has been great. It even tells me who's calling first without even looking at my phone when it rings. I used to be able say "answer" but for some reason it stopped doing that after a few weeks. Maybe the software needs to be reinstalled or something.

Touching and swiping gestures still work. You can set a few things for what they do in the app but it's limited to answering calls, hanging up, or volume up and down. Both sides of the glasses have 3 or 4 gestures you can set. Swipe up or down and double tap.

Being able to talk on the phone without a headset or the phone in your hand makes you look like your talking to yourself pretty often. In a quiet room if you have the volume too loud everyone can hear it. Exactly like if you were to put your phone on speaker. I drive truck and I thought this would be the perfect alternative to having an obnoxiously huge mic on your face. But even though the volume gets pretty loud in a quiet area to where everyone around you can hear it, It's not loud enough inside a very noisy diesel truck cab. Especially going highway speeds. It might be fine in a normal well insulated car with the windows up but you can barely hear the other caller with what I drive. This might just because of the noise pollution taking over the speakers on the frames itself. The frames get loud enough to feel air being pushed on your ears from the speakers. Maybe they could direct them better or used bone conduction, which I think is a joke btw, but then again there's a reason I keep using these as my main mic even at work.

The noise cancellation on them works even better than a 300 dollar parrot or Plantronics set. I mean it, I could be right next to a generator the size of a trailer and the other guy says he can hear me just fine and that they don't even hear anything else in the background. This in spite of me barely hearing them myself unless I cup my hand over one ear. But then if I do that all the time it just looks like I have a phone to my face anyways.

Battery life is about 5 hours if your on the phone the whole time. Yes I've talked to coworkers this long at work. Charging them uses a dedicated magnetic style charger which I leave at home so once they're dead I just stop using them until that night when I take them off for bed.

Loving them overall. I'm not sure how to improve on these. Maybe longer battery life? I would love to see a HUD display version with a camera. That might be a lala land though with the ridiculous way people are about privacy.

First off, these are very comfortable and the sound quality is amazing. I love taking my dog on walks and being able to listen to music while also being able to hear my surroundings. I was really surprised at the sound quality and comfort. Most people are shocked when they find out that these have speakers built in. They are slim and can/do pass as regular sun glasses. The only downside is that I feel like the battery life is too short. I wish these had a longer battery life and maybe the next gen will. I still recommend them but be aware that you will be charging these often if you like to use them for extended periods of time.

Works great for podcasts. Better audio quality in the low to mid ranges. Highs a lil sharp, hollow. But very good for spoken word audio, podcasts, news/talk radio streaming. Ok for music but not great. On moderate volume, little audio leaks. People don’t know you’re listening to something. I got the clear computer frames too, and very inconspicuous. People can’t tell you’re listening to something. I got these on sale for $60 but they are worth more. Haven’t tried these w/ Zoom, but they could be great if the mic is nice and clear. Works on phone calls. Hope @Anker keeps developing this unit. Easy to use, set up. The app lets you improve the equalizer settings. Not sure about battery life but I’ve used these a solid 7+ hours btwn charges. Better looking than other pricier frames that have same functions. If audio was a bit better for music, this would be a solid 5 stars. They seem a bit fragile, so not for people who are rough on items. Included case helps protects glasses.

Habe diese Brille als Einstieg für 120 Euro bei Amazon erworben. Hatte bereits im Vorfeld mehrfach die Bose Frames (UVP bei ca. 180 Eur.) Beobachtet. Im direkten Vergleich liegen beide Produkte hinsichtlich Optik gleichauf. Auch das Robuste Gestell und die Kratzfestigkeit sowie Haptik können bei der Anker Brille überzeugen. Der Ton ist gut verständlich. Bei ca. 40% der Lautstärke hören es Personen direkt daneben mit, dieses Ergebnis deckte sich aber auch mit der Frame von Bose. Der Klang war beim Test meiner Meinung nach bei der Bose jedoch deutlich besser. Die Akkulaufzeit ist mit 5,5 Stunden völlig ausreichend, auch lassen diese sich innerhalb einer Stunde wieder voll aufladen. In der Beschreibung steht etwas von Schnellladefunktion, welche ich jedoch bislang in der Praxis noch nicht feststellen konnte. Die Mitgelieferte Tasche könnte etwas weniger Sperrig sein, dann würde sie auch mal im Auto Platz finden. Alles in allem kann man bei dem aktuellen Preis von 120 Euro (ebenfalls UVP bei 179 Eur), beim Kauf dieser Brille nichts falsch machen.
