Bought for my son. Phone is great value, best budget Android on the market in 2022. The screen is good, the camera better than my [a few year old] samsung flagship and it feels light and well built.
A perfect choice it seemed BUT ... My son forgot his pin. Usually Androids have a recovery mode that would have let me wipe his phone and start again. 30 seconds to reset, an hour or so to setup again and all good. BUT NOKIA HAVE REMOVED THE RECOVERY MODE
There is no way to reset this manually yourself if you lock yourself out the device (unless you were lucky to have setup Google Find My Phone first and the remote erase works for you). Nokia support confirmed only hope would be to send off to their repair centre for them to reset it for you. Otherwise my one day old new phone is a useless brick.
Have returned for replacement as the device is not fit for purpose for use by careless/forgetful real people like us. Thank goodness for Amazon customer service [fingers crossed!]
I have tried everything and this phone won't connect to my Wifi. I have 3 other devices that connect to my wifi without issue. The phone doesn't even offer 5G as an option whereas the other devices do (and connect to). It's Android and otherwise behaves like any other Android phone does.
WiFi connection worked for a couple of days only and then steadfastly refused to connect. Tried multiple times to connect without success, eventually deleted all apps and performed a hard reset, nothing, zilch, zero. Other phones, tablets, radios etc connect ok. Returned for no quibble refund.
