Such a disappointing phone. I really didn't like it from the beginning. I do not use alot of data, but this phone was very slow responsively. My previous mobile was a Nokia as well and I was happy with it, so I tried another. I left the old phone usable via wifi for a few weeks after getting this one, and when my old phone would announce an email, it was another 10 minutes before this new C21 would announce it. This was the same for texts and any other notifications. Loading screens, downloads, everything was just slow. It just seemed to be slow to respond for no real reason. I felt guilty replacing a mobile after such a short time, but I just never really liked it and it's problems gave me no reason to keep it. I'll be looking to donate it to a shelter or some organisation that may find it useful.
I decided this may have been a 'get what you pay for' situation and went with a more expensive Google phone replacement and have so far been happy with it.
For the price this phone is excellent, good camera and runs all the apps I need. It runs on a cut down budget version of Android, so if you switching from a full version phone it might take some getting used to. It uses it's own actions for switching apps etc, and you can't have widgets on screen, just the Apps. If you want a cheap but good smartphone, and aren't looking to run a network or manage your business from it, them definitely worth a look.
Update after 10 months, the phone has now locked up and won't switch on. For the last few weeks it has been unresponsive and had needed rebooted every day. So off to the recycling for it.
To be honest I'm not sad to see it go. I previously wrote that it took some getting used to, but to be honest I never did, I still found it awkward and frustrating to use even after months of use. Do yourself a favour and buy a fully fledged android phone, not this budget rubbish.
I have tried everything but for some reason this phone doesn’t support Android Auto. So for me I have wasted £100 as I bought this phone for work and need Android Auto. The phone should come with a disclaimer as nowadays what phone isn’t compatible.
THE PHONE IS GARBAGE The phone looks good and it's cheap The battery after running it flat from new then first full recharge was on 44% from 0630 am till 1930pm and with little usage say about 25 mins on tick tok checking emails for about 10 mins and sending about 9 text messages, that wasn't the main issue though as with all new phones you have to discharge a recharge fully a couple of times to optimise them, the real issue is that the screen was flickering as if the gpu or cpu couldn't handle it I'd not buy this phone personally even though it was cheap and didn't expect it to be amazing, it actually isn't even good.
This product is not a good buy if you need GPS recording on your phone. Walking, cycling or running on any app including Strava, Komoot or OS mapping, even a simple downloaded pedometer, this phone is totally useless. I will be trading it in ASAP. I don't recommend this product.
