Great Product, Horrible Fit for Large Ear Canals!!

Lost my first set of Jabra 65's somewhere and took the plunge again and bought these. Great product, no problems listening to music while mowing the lawns using active noise cancellation, answering calls with the Jeep top down, that part all works great. The call and music sound was fantastic and nobody had a problem hearing me.

However, to say they will never fall out is patently FALSE. They might hold nice and tight for people with smaller ear canals, but not for larger ones like I have. The Jabra LARGE gel still felt a bit loose to I tried aftermarket ear gels, but their large was even smaller than the Jabra large, so I reverted back.

Yesterday while walking on the side of my boat wearing only the right earbud in so I could answer calls, and using the large Jabra ear gel, I tilted my head just a bit to the right and it popped right out and fell into the water. I tried to get it, but couldn't and stopped trying since they're only "splash resistant". Certainly not when they splash into the water. I will NOT be spending another $140 for another "matched pair". This is ridiculous. What a waste of money.

Update: Jabra customer disservice was horrible. Even after explaining through 5 emails that it fell out and into the water they replied:

"We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing challenges with the feel and fit of your Jabra Elite 85t.

If you have not tried this already, we suggest trying all of the provided accessories supplied with the product to find the best fit. You may need to mix and match sizes, as no two ears are exactly alike. In addition, we also recommend rotating the earbuds in your ears. Sometimes the earbuds require a bit of adjusting in order to fit securely. With some trial and error, most users are able to find a comfortable and secure fit. If this is not successful, we would suggest returning the product for a refund."

That has to be the dumbest reply and proves they never even read my complaint. NEVER buying another Jabra product again.

After using this product for only 4 months suddenly is not accepting to be charged by wire or wireless.
I have used Jabra 75 before and it was very good but i think this one is not genuine.
Very disappointed and don’t know what to do.

How can the 85t’s have such little bass? They sound so flat. They must be defective or probably are counterfeit. I read that they can be tweaked with equalizer to sound like the 75t’s (which I have) but I can honestly tell you that you can’t. I’ve compared sound quality between both Jabra models and the 75t’s sound is so much better. You can hear the treble, lows and highs beautifully with the 75t’s . The 85t’s are TRASH. 🔊🗑️

I bought these when I misplaced the right earbud of my Jabra 65t. I was excited to try the upgraded version of the Jabra earbuds because I’d heard such great things, but the minute I started using the 85t, people I was on calls with started asking me to repeat myself, or would tell me that there was an echo or distortion on the line and it was hard to hear me. Luckily, I found the missing 65t earbud and I’ve gone back to using those.

I don’t know what the issue is but I do NOT recommend the Jabra 85t.

While I did not test the 85t's (with the two wireless charging pads) I received and figure that the earbuds themselves are most likely great (I trust Jabra and love my 75t's), I will be returning these. Between the Jabra box not being sealed, scuff marks in the box, and finding hair inside of the box, it seems very likely to me that these were used. I thought I was buying a new set... I will return these and buy them again elsewhere despite the attractive price (on sale for $155 at time of writing)

I chose the option with two charging pads. The item is clearly used. The box seal was removed and stuck to the side of the box, and there is crud on the ear pads.

Phone calls sounded like analog. Sounded like someone was crumbling Aluminum Foil behind person speaking. Music was not able to be turned up load enough to work out too!
