Nach 2 Jahren mit den soliden Amazfit Powerbuds musste ich mich leider nach einem neuen Modell umsehen für die tägliche Portion Musik auf den Ohren. Ich höre grundsätzlich viele verschiedene Genres und schätze daher einen neutralen Klang. Ich benötige keine Basskracher (die Powerbuds waren hier etwas überbetont), aber auch kein HiFi-Modell (dafür habe ich passendes Equipment zu Hause). Unter dieser Prämisse würde ich die 1More Colorbuds nach etwa einem Monat folgendermaßen bewerten:

Design/Verarbeitung
Im Vergleich zu meinen alten Powerbuds wirken die 1More Pendants etwas windiger. Dafür gefällt mir das unauffällige und doch einzigartige Design. Gerade die nette Farbauswahl sollte für jeden das passende Gerät ermöglichen. Der Klappmechanismus hat ein wenig Spiel, aber das ist bei Stürzen von Vorteil. Der Magnet für die ColorBuds selbst ist für meinen Geschmack jedoch etwas zu stark. Hier braucht man doch mal einen zweiten Versuch beim Herausnehmen.

Tragekomfort
1More liefert 3 verschiedene Aufsatzgrößen mit. Allesamt aus Silikon. Diese sind sehr weich und rutschen in meinen Ohren gerne mal heraus, womit wir in meinen Augen bei einem Problem wären, das sich vor allem auf den Punkt Klangqualität auswirkt. Ich persönlich nutze bei meinen Kopfhörern gerne Schaumstoff Aufsätze. Diese dichten besser ab und sorgen so für angenehme Tiefen und eine deutlichere Geräuschunterdrückung. Leider ist das Case der ColorBuds so knapp bemaßt, dass man wirklich nur die mitgelieferten Aufsätze nutzen kann. Ich habe mehrere Schaumstoffaufsätze und Silikonaufsätze von verschiedenen Drittanbietern getestet und jeder einzelne führte dazu, dass die ColorBuds nicht mehr geladen werden konnten, weil sie zu weit herausragten. Leider bietet 1More selbst keine Schaumstoffaufsätze an. Die Bewertung des Klangs wird bei jedem einzelnen Nutzer daher stark davon abhängen wie gut die Kopfhörer sitzen. Schade, dass 1More hier nicht mehr Aufsätze anbietet. Mit der kleinsten Größe sitzen die Kopfhörer bei mir jedoch solide und rutschen nicht heraus. Hierzu ist es wichtig die Kopfhörer nach dem Einsetzen nochmal leicht in den Gehörgang zu drehen.

Klangqualität
Wie bereits erwähnt hängt die Klangqualität maßgeblich davon ab wie gut die Aufsätze bei euch halten. Sind euch die Aufsätze zu klein, dichten sie nicht gut genug ab. Der Klang wird blechern, bassarm und höhenbetont. Sind die Aufsätze euch zu groß, liegen die ColorBuds nicht tief genug im Gehörgang und der Klang ist ebenfalls blechern und bassarm.

ABER: Wenn ihr zu den glücklichen Menschen gehört, denen die 1More Colorbuds gut passen, dann ist das Klangbild für rund 70€ bemerkenswert. Wichtig ist hierbei, dass ihr die Kopfhörer einspielen müsst. Das könnt ihr mit eurer Lieblingsmusik machen oder ihr nutzt dafür die hauseigene App von 1More. Nach der Einspielphase erwarten euch glasklare Höhen, differenzierte Mitten und ein tolles Stereobild. Der Bass ist präzise, aber lässt etwas Kraft vermissen. Für Dance und Electronic Liebhaber werden die ColorBuds daher vermutlich etwas enttäuschend sein. Natürlich alles unter der Prämisse, dass die Colorbuds bei euch perfekt sitzen. Ich habe schon lange keine Kopfhörer mehr gekauft bei denen der Klang so stark von der Passgenauigkeit im Gehörgang abhängig war.

Zusammenfassend bin ich aber sehr zufrieden mit dem Klangbild. Die 1More Colorbuds gehören definitiv zu den besseren in ihrer Preisklasse. Ich benutze im Übrigen nicht einmal die "Klangverbesserung" von Sonwarworks, die 1More in der "1More Music" - App anbietet. Hier könnt ihr euch den Klang an eure Vorlieben anpassen. Das funktioniert (wie von Sonarworks gewohnt) erstaunlich gut. Ich bevorzuge aber die Standardabstimmung der Kopfhörer.

Bedienkomfort
Hier gibt es in meinen Augen Luft nach oben. Die "1More Music" - App ist stellenweise schlecht übersetzt, aber tut was sie soll. Ich persönlich nutze sie aber nicht, da die App in meinen Augen nur sinnvoll ist, wenn man die Bedientasten verändern möchte oder die Klangabstimmung von Sonwarworks nutzen möchte. Für letztere muss die App im Übrigen immer geöffnet sein, wenn ihr Musik hören möchtet. Das frisst dann natürlich etwas Akku.

Apropos Tasten: Die Bedienung ist grundsätzlich verständlich, aber gerade beim Einsetzen der Kopfhörer kommt es zu Fehleingaben. Hier "denken" die ColorBuds, dass ich die seitliche berührungsempfindliche Taste lange halte und so öffnet sich beim Einsetzen der Kopfhörer oftmals der Google Assistent. Nicht schlimm, aber einfach nicht sauber durchdacht. Immerhin werden alle Befehle sauber erkannt und vergleichsweise schnell umgesetzt.

Telefonie
Bisher konnte ich die Mikrofone der ColorBuds noch nicht testen. Ich denke aber, dass es hier keine großen Probleme geben sollte.

Geräuschunterdrückung
Die Colorbuds liefern sowohl einen Pass-Through Modus, als auch eine leichte Geräuschunterdrückung (allerdings keine aktive). Das funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Im Pass-Through Modus versteht man seine Mitmenschen ausreichend gut. Auch Bahndurchsagen können wahrgenommen werden, wenn man die Musik logischerweise nicht so laut aufdreht. Ist dieser Modus deaktiviert dichten die Kopfhörer bei gutem Sitz sehr solide ab. Außengeräusche hatten mich während meines Testzeitraumes nicht belästigt.

Akkulaufzeit
Die Akkulaufzeit ist für meinen Nutzungsumfang sehr gut. Bisher musste ich sie in den 4 Wochen lediglich zweimal aufladen. Das wird aber vom individuellen Nutzerverhalten abhängen. Ich höre alle paar Tage mal 2-3 Stunden Musik über mein Smartphone auf mittlerer bis niedriger Lautstärke. Damit komme ich sehr gut klar.

Fazit
Wenn die ColorBuds sauber sitzen, wird man mit einem tollen Klangbild belohnt, das nur im Bassbereich etwas schwächelt. Für den Preis von 70-80€ erhält man somit ein gelungenes Gesamtpaket. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen und hoffe, dass die Lebensdauer der 1More Colorbuds hoch genug ist.

I really wanted to give these earbuds 5 stars for at least ONE category, but I just couldn't do it.
The sound quality really is fantastic. To be fair, I'd give it 5 stars NOW, after some time has passed. However, it took me some serious work and troubleshooting to get there. Initially, my OnePlus 9 defaulted to aptx Adaptive codec. And my experience was awful. I mean, it was TERRIBLE. I was ready to send the buds back... There was an audible clicking/peaking sound, regardless of volume. But then I paired them to my Pixel 3a - and the sound was fantastic. I was confused and frustrated. I contacted 1more support and got no response. Fortunately, I don't give up easily, so I went back to my OnePlus and switched the audio codec to the standard aptx in Bluetooth settings - and the problem was solved. (The buds are advertised as having Adaptive aptx - so his is REALLY disappointing... But whatever.) I was also initially a little frustrated that the ANC and passthrough modes cannot be bypassed... But the ANC mode sounds really pretty darn fantastic after the SoundID process. Passthrough is only useable when the music is paused. I expected this to be better... But maybe that's my own misunderstanding about how Passthrough is used.
TL;DR - Initially I hated the sound of these earbuds. Now I love the sound. Know your codecs and make sure you test everything before deciding whether you like the sound. If this was an Apple product (at an Apple price,) literally NO ONE would tolerate these kinds of issues.

The battery life is okay. Not fantastic. I have to believe that a firmware update could improve the battery life... Just let us turn off the ANC!

After a couple weeks of use, fit is my biggest gripe. I love the sound now (after lots of work and tweaking,) and I'm okay with the battery life. I can seriously forgive a lot considering the price. But these buds kinda hurt my ears if I don't seat them absolutely perfectly. Kind of a bummer, as I feel like they were advertised as being well suited for all ear types.

So... Overall, 4/5. The build is great. The case is awesome (Qi wireless charging!) After some work, the sound is better than any TWS buds I own. Fit might be a mixed bag. I got mine with several promo codes from YouTubers.... If I had paid full price, this would probably be a 3/5 star review. That feels cruel, but it's the truth. Sound comes close to 5/5 - but it shouldn't have taken so much work to get there. My initial impression was 0/5.

Update - 1More did respond to my email. Just went to my spam filter. By that point, I had resolved my issues.

Decir que son comodísimos, los mejores que he probado en este aspecto, no se caen por mucho que te muevas, tiene buenos acabados y la caja es pequeñisima, fantástica para llevarla en el vaquero.
El unico problema es que por el precio los hay con mejor sonido, de serie es muy plano, casi sin bajos y tiene poco volumen.
Te ves obligado a instalar una app que esta en ingles y que te permite crear un prefil de sonido personalizado, escuchando un cancion y escogiendo entre A o B.
El problema es que así no se pueden afinar bien es muy limitado, es verdad que el sonido mejora, pero no soy capaz de ponerlo a mi gusto, muchas veces no se nota la diferencia entre las opciones que te dan a escoger.
Otro problema es que al final te obliga a instalar una app y a hacer un proceso que mucha gente ni siquiera se dará cuenta de ello, la mayoría lo que queremos es que suenen bien al sacarlos de la caja y como mucho después ajustar bajos o agudos.
Otro tema es que el ANC a parte de ser debil no se puede desactivar, o esta activo ANC o esta activo El modo para escuchar el entorno.

Great sound quality but poor microphone performance during calls

I've been using this as my main earbuds for a few months now. First, the audio sounds great and that I found it intuitive to use. The active noise cancelation was satisfactory and the battery was adequate for my usage (a few hours at a time). For the price, it's a pretty good product. I found it useful when I need to listen to music/podcasts while doing house chores.

However there is a huge drawback, the microphone quality is very poor. In at least 90% of the time, the person on the other side of the phone complains about white noise and can't hear me. Initially I thought it's cell reception issues or EM interference, but after many months of usage in a variety of places - the noise issue persists with these earbuds during calls.

The bottom line is that you get what you paid for. At this price, it's a good set of Bluetooth earbuds with active noise cancelation. I can give it a 4.5/5 based on audio quality. However, the microphone issue causes too much noise for the recipient during calls and I'm often forced to disconnect and use phone speaker instead - I can only give it 3/5 overall.

I ordered my first pair of 1More earbuds in 2019 and loved them. They were very easy to use, very comfortable and worked great.

I needed new ones, so ordered this pair. They are an odd shape, so hard to grasp to pull out and to put into the charging case. They are also not as comfortable in my ears and actually hurt after I have had them in for a while.

The original pair had a button to click to turn on and off or to connect calls, this pair uses touch. I have a hard time getting it to connect an incoming call and to go back to my podcast after the call is done.
They are also harder to connect to bluetooth. Sometimes they immediately link and other times I have to put them back in their charging case and close it and then take them out again to get them to connect to bluetooth.

Lastly, when I put them back in the charging case, they do not automatically disconnect from bluetooth like my old pair did. I often end up trying to figure out why my phone is not working, then realize, my earbuds are still connected, even though they are in the charging pod.

The sound quality and battery life are still very good, just wish they hadn't made the other changes
