Everything works as it should do the issue is that it runs on Google Android. Too many options and no ease of use basis. If you want to sit and follow Google instructions this is probably for you. If however you want to use your phone in other ways internet etc. then not as easy as an iphone but apple are catching up on their ability to add more junk than you could possibly need whilst still making battery replacement the reason to take out a mortgage. The Nokia battery can be fairly easily replaced just be careful when searching for a replacement as Google and Amazon will throw all sorts of incompatible things at you.

I bought this for my wife who is the kind of girl who would be happy with a washboard sitting on the riverbank, certainly no technophile. I wanted a fairly straight forward phone for her with a decent sized screen and a camera. This fits the bill very well and I have customised the android screen to make it easy to use. It will get little use so the battery life is not a concern to me although it seems to be fine.
Couple this with one of the 1p per minute sims that are available with 3gb of data at £10 or less for three months and away you go.

It can’t be described as “all singing & dancing,” however, for the price , it’s very good value and easy to use .
Battery life could be better & the charging cable can be a bit fiddly to insert .
Overall, a good phone that does enough - some apps are not compatible, it’s easy to handle due to its relatively compact size.

If you need a phone in a hurry, don't want to spend much money on it, and aren't intending on using it for long; then this may (not) be the phone for you.

Pros:
- Runs stock Android (go edition), so you won't find any manufacturer bloatware here.
- User-replaceable battery
- Small and light
- Does what you need...sorta.
- Supplied unlocked
- Headphone jack

Cons:
- Slow, took the best part of an hour to get through the "setup" phase, including downloading an update
- Does not multitask very well and shuts down background processes, I expect due to only having 1GB of RAM. This often means you won't get push notifications for some apps unless they're the only thing running. Similarly if you're watching a video on YouTube, for example, then duck out to read a message - the YouTube app will restart.
- Many apps struggle to operate properly.
- 2011 called, they want their 5MP cameras back
- Very smeary screen that collects fingerprints and does not let go of them without a fight.

Overall this phone seems a bit like a false economy - for about the same money you could probably buy a refurbished middle-of-the-road phone from 2016 or earlier that will *massively* outperform this, granted legacy support for some apps may not exist.

I don't recommend this phone unless, like me, you're only planning on using it whilst waiting for a broken phone to be repaired.

Bought as a replacement for my immensely clumsy son , who gets through phones like there are going out of fashion.
He's 14 and it does everything he needs, it's fast enough for that social media rubbish that he's always on.
Doesn't seem to work when I call him though!!
