About a month into use. My previous phone was a Moto X4, which was a major leap in battery life from my Moto X2. I expected this phone to be even better, and while it does last a full day of fairly heavy usage, I feel like I expected a bit more than I get.

Other than that, I like the phone and its features. Good cameras and screen, great storage space plus an SD card for pictures. And my favorite thing is the stylus. I like to write down notes a lot, and draw, so that is super useful. The phone did have a bit of a learning curve and take time to figure out all my old settings. Its really amazing how anti-user a phone starts and to make it usable you need to change a million settings, which change names every phone model.

It is an agreeable phone at $200 and I'd say as far as $350. Doesn't really have that 2 day guarantee like I expected, but it could be the cold, which I'll bring up later.

It isn't a huge phone, and is slim, so if you're kind of clutzy, maybe grab a case or one of those backside pop ups. The screen, display, resolution, etc is all pretty nice. It's a comfortable with quality viewing. Haven't played too intensive of games, but so far everything runs on med-high for various games.

Camera is kind of meh, if I were to be honest it takes no better; but at times worse than an older Samsung I had that was only $150 and dual camera. I expected from the hooplah about quad camera it could take some impressive shots of the scenery, but I am left in a lot of desire for the price and promise.

Connectivity and blue tooth I have no complaints or issues, standard for any Android.

All in all, I'm satisfied with the phone and condition. My largest complaint is I live in Colorado, this phone is less than a week old. The temps are 20ish, but after being outside for only 5 minutes, the phone decided to shut off and didn't want to do anything at all for about 3 hours. I am not sure if that's a battery issue? I had an older 2018 Samsung phone and never did I have issues with it turning off, let alone for such an extended period of time. It is working perfectly fine now, as I type this review. But something to consider, it may not like the cold. Overall, for $200, it's a pretty decent phone.

One of the basic features that all my Samsung smartphones all the way going back to the note 1 has always had and that is if you are at home using your Wi-Fi or anywhere using a Wi-Fi you don't need to be pulling data from your Carrier! So it's like the iphones that you'd better have unlimited data or else you're gonna learn very quickly that you are gonna run out of data pretty quickly so you better find the spot to turn off carrier data, you have to drag down the menu from the top of the screen and then you have to click on network and Internet then you have to click on the toggle switch to actually turn off data From your Carrier.I do not understand why This Motorola very advanced phone very nice phone actually there's nothing I don't like about it except it does not allow you to put in a code and not hit enter. So with my Samsung phone I can set it up to say yeah don't don't make me hit enter, just put in my code and it will unlock. So if you can live without those 2 features there is not a better phone out there. I'm finding it difficult to live without them! SIGH

Update 01/08/2023 (10 days after I received it) I had a very, very difficult time getting the stylus out. I had to use the tip of my pocket knife to pull it out. Once out, I worked the retractor. It would not go in and out like it used to, like the clicker of a ball point pen. Then, looking carefully, I noticed the small stem was bent. Trying to straighten it, it broke. Great! Now what do I do?

Update: 01/10/2023, Yesterday, I called Motorola's "Technical Help" 3 times. Basically I was told, the Stylus was not covered by warranty, a replacement would be $20.
I called today. Talked to a more knowledgeable man. I'm being mailed a replacement stylus.

Fantastic, Yet Missing The Mark

I ordered this phone about a month or so ago at this point and I've got a lot of good things to say about it. Having previously used a OnePlus 8T, I can honestly say that I don't notice performance differences between the two devices (I'm not a gamer, so I'm talking about general-use performance; lots of web-browsing, note-taking, basic gaming, photo-taking, YouTube, music, and document editing).

The battery on this device is great. It lasts me two days. I think it could run for two and a half days if not 3, depending on how I use my device.

The camera is decent. If you're in a poorly-lit environment, forget about it, it's not very good at all, but it takes crisp and nice images outdoors during the day.

The screen quality (viewing) is the worst part, as I've literally owned cheaper phones with a crisp AMOLED display no different from my OnePlus 8T. I suppose to make it affordable, less investment went into the screen quality. It doesn't seem like a 1080p display to me, more like a 720p display. My eyes hurt for a while in the beginning, but they adjusted and now it's fine. I can still tell it's not the best quality, but aside from the screen, I like it no less than my OnePlus 8T and don't really notice any major differences.

Call quality will obviously mostly depend on your carrier, but on this phone compared to my 8T, people noticed it is a bit harder to hear me. If 10/10 is the 8T in best call quality, the Moto is about an 8.7/9. You've got to speak a bit louder. Not an issue if you're using Bluetooth or wired earbuds. Maybe it's just the device I got, not all of the devices of this model. No clue, but either way it's fine.

The speaker is fine, and it's not too different from my 8T, honestly. Side-by-side, I can tell that my 8T is a bit louder, but the clarity is the same (to me).

At this price point, I can't complain. I love this device and hope it lasts me well. If it does, I would totally stick to this series and their newer models. Love the built-in Stylus. Solid build, fast, durable, and lightweight.

Sorry Samsung lovers, this phone is way better for a fraction the price. The Galaxy S22 battery was nearly dead in about 3 hours with almost no usage, this one holds up to a day with heavy use and a day and half with nearly no use. they s pen doesn't have the Galaxy "click" mode but so what, at less than $400 this phone is my go to, but keep in mind the 2021 actual has longer battery life and faster processor than the 2022 although the 2022 does have some more bells and whistles. Great camera, sound, screen image.

The phone that I got has a shiny emerald look that I almost want to take out the case but I want to protect it. The camera does beautiful work. Only downfall and reason for the loss of the star is when I put in on speaker phone it’s not as loud as I wish it was. Then again that could just be my issue because I like it to be louder.
