Lots of things cook better on a griddle than a grate. Don't get the flare-up from chicken fat. Love to cook hamburger in corn tortilla taco's outside without splattering grease all over my kitchen. 60+ tacos in 30 minutes, enough for a large group of friends. Flautas, stir fry, and such are a breeze. Breakfasts, bacon, eggs, sausage, and hash browns all at once. I got the 28 inch unit so I could convert to NG. My grill is also NG so it works out really well. Wish I had spent a bit more and got the Heavy Duty with a thicker griddle plate for better heat transfer. The base is good but not perfect.

I got this for my husband for Christmas. And we all love it! You can cook almost the entire meal in one place with one thing to clean up! It is so versatile. It’s making our family time better, because we are enjoying thinking of things we can do together out there. It doesn’t separate people for a long like traditional cooking, or some people are outside having fun while other people are stuck in the kitchen. I love that my husband is happily doing a lot more of the cooking, and clean up, so that’s a win-win! The food we’ve been trying has been different and that’s making meal time fun too. This really is a great investment! We absolutely love it. Our neighbor got one for Christmas as well and we’re excited to have a cook off. Bringing the community together is another perk I guess.
