Awful Time Keeper

It is 46 years since I bought my first Seiko 5 watch and in the intervening years I have used them almost exclusively, they tend to last me 5-7 years before they become battered and scratched and need replacing for cosmetic reasons, or start losing too much time to make them viable as a reasonable timekeeper. However the last two that I have purchased have both been terrible timekeepers. The present one that I have started off losing about two minutes per day and now just over 2 years later is losing 3-5 minutes per day. I think that circa £200 is an awful lot of money to pay for a watch that doesn't even keep good time, so I am afraid that a nearly life-long association with Seiko is coming to an end and I have just purchased a watch of a different brand.

Not sure if this is real or not, clear sticker is ok, seems solid and put together well. Main booklet and box look good. Shipping was quick, packaging good. Comes with a statement that if you adjust the band (even to try it on) you can't return it. I won't purchase from them again because of that.

Muy mal que este reloj, que está disponible el día de la semana en español, que nos lo vendan en francés.
Que lo vendan en francés en Francia, pero en España que lo vendan en español, que para eso Seiko hace todos los relojes con el idioma (día de la semana) en español.

Bell'orologio, il cinturino nato ci sta bene, l'allineamento della corona e degli indici è perfetto, purtroppo in confronto all'skx hanno tolto la corona avvitata (sicuramente per far rimanere alta la fascia di prezzo dei diver, perché non credo che il costo di una piccola parte filettata e una corona filettata, possa incidere più di qualche decina di centesimi), alla luminescenza darei -5 stelle, ridicola, durerà si e no 2 minuti a piena carica luminosa, nei primi secondi già perde luminescenza, in poche parole è come non averla, mi aspettavo di meglio dai così tanto (secondo me) sopravvalutati seiko. Comunque l'ho dovuto restituire perché grazie alla nostra "fantastica" dogana, l'orologio è arrivato in ritardo e quindi il regalo è sfumato. Ottima la gestione resi Amazon

Lieferung mit Prime tadellos.
Mit dem Stoffband unter dem Gehäuseboden und dem doch beachtlichen Gewicht "schwimmt" die Uhr unangenehm auf dem Handgelenk.
Trotz bewusstem Schütteln nach der Lieferung ging sie nur 5 Stunden bis sie stehen blieb. Am nächsten Tag nochmals ordentlich gerüttelt, wieder blieb sie nach 5 Stunden stehen.
Vielleicht hatte ich ja Pech, aber die viel gepriesene Qualität kann ich halt nicht bestätigen.

Ich vergebe nur zwei Sterne weil ich mit der Seiko Uhr nicht zufrieden bin. die Materialien die angeboten wirken sehr billig. Es scheint mir so dass Seiko auf ihren Ruhm sitzt und das ausnutzt. Sie liefern mittlerweile schlechtere Uhren als aus China für 100€.
Kein Saphir Glas, keine verschraubte Krone, der Ring sitzt nicht mittig, das Ziffernblatt wirkt nicht so hochwertig wie die erste Variante...usw.
Auch das Armband ist sehr dürftig..
Wirklich schade. Habe die Uhr zwar für 200€ gekauft anstatt für 270€ aber das ist sie definitiv nicht Wert. Da rate ich eher zur Marke Orient!

Good looking watch but I returned it because it lost too much time (over 1 minute/day) and would not keep running overnight (spec is 40 hrs after wear). I wonder if it was a real Seiko.

Definitely did not get a new watch, absolutely a returned watch sent back out. The wrapping wasn't on properly and the watch was covered in fingerprints.. worst was a big piece of dust inside the watch case on the dial. I'm into watch repair so instead of sending it back I opened it up and cleaned the dial. The watch is fine, as expected, but the quality control on this was awful.

If you want a watch that looks good, this is for you. If you want a watch that keeps time, look elsewhere. Every day I have to adjust 1-3 minutes. It's a nice bracelet but not a good watch. Too bad, I really wanted to like it and use it. Also the return window is closed.
