To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Previously had the s8+ but it was getting too hot in the gear vr. So needed to upgrade to a phone that supported the gear vr and the s10 series are the last to do so. Two things that bothered me were the large size for1 hand handling and lack of micro-sd support - the latter being the reason i never bought into the one plus range. The plus points being that it was 5g phone and was heavily discounted, compared to s10+.
The finger print reader on the screen is apallingly bad, but the s8+ was not much better with it being in the back. The best finger print reader i have experienced is on the zte axon - quick and accurate.
I stopped buying Samsungs a while back as they are way overpriced but i got the s8+ for free and then had to stay in the Samsung ecosystem to be able to use the gear vr - the main and only reason for getting this phone which is a great buy for the discounted price i got it at. So if it wasn't for the gear vr i wouldn't have got this phone. If it was priced same as s10+ i would have gotten the s10+ because to me the micro-sd support is more important than 5g support.
My Galaxy S10 5g 'phone arrived a day earlier than expected. It was brand new and fully boxed up with charger, AKG earphones and SIM removal tool. There is a message on the box seal stating the 'phone is imported and the charging port has been changed for a UK compatible port. Everything is working as expected and it's a lovely 'phone. A large edge to edge screen, very thin and looks beautiful. Battery life is about one day depending on use which is OK for modern smartphones. The cameras and software are more sophisticated than my previous 'phone (S7 Edge) so still experimenting but seems excellent so far. There's no memory card slot but with all the cloud storage options these days that shouldn't be an issue. Great phone, good price, delivered on time.
The first time I bought, it could not load S-Health. After wasting 1 week, I got another on and returned the first one. After spending another 1 week and many hours with Online and Remote Help, I find, S10 5G can't measure Heart rate, it needs a wearable. That is a downgrade from S7 for me, even more so I had to spend so many hours with Samsung to find it. Why not the Help tell me No Heart Monitor the first time I asked them. Got what u paid for. Still getting used to the phone as its much larger than my iPhone 6S. Arrived between the time period stated. Had a major issue with DPD but once I gave feedback to the seller they resolved the issue immediately. Was happy with my purchase from this company.
