I really like these, but they're really heavy and pull my earlobes uncomfortably. I'm going to switch them to posts and I'm betting that will improve. I've done this on other heavy earrings and taking the shepherds hook earring element away, reduces the swing and improves the feel of wearing them. Should work with these too. As for the earrings, they're very pretty and I like them.

I have one ear(yeah, just the ONE ear) that is sensitive to certain metals and length of time I can wear an earring regardless of the metal(but the weight), and it's a shame my right ear is like that and that they're heavy, but to spin that negative vibe, if I lose one, I'll sure as hell know it!
