I'm currently on a bit of a BBQ phase in my life! I mean seriously, I'm running out of foods to grill, smoke, and BBQ so for my recent inkbird purchase I decided to smoke a Turkey (I know it's not November so we'll just say I'm practicing ; ) ).

I was a bit hesitant about this thermometer at first because it didn't have any reviews but this little wireless thermometer turned out to be great for small cooks (1 or 2 meats). I used 1 probe for my turkey and the other to keep an eye on the temperature at grate level.

My favorite thing was the app. Initially I had trouble conecting the app to the unit but turns out you have to have both the bluetooth and GPS on to connect. Besides that minor issue, the app is awesome. I set high and low thresholds for the probe keeping track of the temperature inside my smoker and I set an alarm for the probe inside the Turkey, letting me know when my Turkey is done.

I also really like that after I was done. I just cleaned the probes and wrapped the wire back in place, all nice and neat. I wish it had another slot to hold the second probe but no biggy. I just cleaned it, wrapped it, and put everything back in the same box for my next smoke - I'm thinking pork belly or just make my own bacon.

Long story short: this unit was accurate (I tested it in boiling water), it is good for small cooks at home, it stores easily, and the app is awesome.

Not sure if this is new and why I'm the first to review it but it's a solid wireless thermometer for small cooks (I'd use something else for catering jobs or big cooks).

I use this with my craft room oven to keep track of the temperature that my polymer clay is baking at, and I love it!! It's been a game changer! I was trusting the thermostat on my oven and it turns out that my clay was not even coming close to the right temperature for a long enough time. My art was breaking despite all the other precautions i was taking. Well now I have it set up with my oversized aluminum tent, I placed the probes in either side of it, and I can feel confident now that my clay is reaching the right temperature for a long enough time! I haven't had any breaks or cracking since I got these! The best thing is being able to set alarms and keep track of it on my phone through bluetooth! It was so easy to set up, and really is quite helpful and convenient!

I like the ease of use and quick/fast/accurate readings in the most tense moments of cooking. Must have device for all Skilled Chef's. I rely on this thermometer as a way of NOT having to OPEN the Smoker or Oven door to check the food's Internal Temperature. This will ensure an even cooking experience in making sure you don't mess up the next big event's main course.

I find this device to be accurate and a MUST have for any good cook looking for reliability.

I love to use my smoker and this thermometer makes it so much easier. My last smoke, I put 2 10-pound pork shoulders in the smoker, with a probe in each to monitor from my phone. When it got late, and they still weren't 201F, I just went to bed and at 3:30am the alarm told me it was time to pull them. A quick wrap and I went back to bed until my normal 5:30am alarm, when I quickly shredded (and sampled) the perfectly cooked pork. A quick vacuum seal, and I have 8 dinners, ready to reheat with my Inkbird sous vide!

I bought this thermometer after I got my new grill to monitor temperatures on smaller cooks. This thing works perfectly. I can track the temperature of the smoker and one large piece of meat, or just two different meats. The Bluetooth range is more than enough for me to sit on the couch and have a drink, while keeping an eye on the temps. This init is easy to use and has a nice app for my smartphone. I’ll be grabbing a couple more for gifts for some of my bbq friends.
