Another product with terrible product support

Bought this product over about a year ago and used it a third time with our smoker. It started malfunctioning and would not display the temperature or turn off. I contacted customer support for help. The awful support from China would not help. They absolutely do not stand behind their product. I would suggest using another brand despite the other reviews. They won’t help you and it lasted three times. That’s sad.

I’ve had two of these and both failed after using only a few times. Amazon replaced the first after the probe failed in just 2 months. Second time it lasted 5 months before the probes failed and Amazon won’t refund it. Apparently, if it doesn’t fail in the first 30 days it’s your fault. Beware of products that “Amazon doesn’t sell” even though it’s on their site as they will wash their hands of it and make you deal with someone else. Terrible product and worse customer service.

I smoke briskets in a reverse flow smoker and cook whole chickens in a Kamado Joe ceramic grill. After several attempts. The thermometer indicates the meat has reach target temperature, only after 30 minutes of cooking. Double and triple checking with different thermometers obviously indicates the meat is nowhere near done. Tested the probe in boiling water and it’s right at 212F. I don’t know why it reads 165F on the chicken after 30 minutes of cooking when other thermometers read about 100F. Probe was inserted properly in the thicker part of the chicken or brisket. I’ve been cooking for more than 30 years. Disappointed.

Failed after 5 uses. Plug #2 just shows 205 degrees on a cold item that #1 shows 45 degrees.

The second one of these that I had.. had the same issue with the first one.. thought it was a fluke or bad sensor.

So, would I trust this one a $60 roast? Nope...

Not sure why, new batteries, bluetooth on. Outside of warranty and that's it.
