Jug made of glass so it washes and dries immediately, blender looks quite premium. If you want something for smoothies and "normal" stuff, go for it, no need to spend more on expensive ones.
But... Note that this is not the most silent blender. Not a problem if you run it for 30 seconds (as normal people do), not a problem for the price. Also, don't expect it to crush ice like those blenders they have in Starbucks, this costs nothing so it may take some time to crush the ice cubes. But will crush them.
It works great as a blender and I have no issue with how it blends ice and fruit etc. However it is quite difficult to clean as you have to take the bottom portion off to clean it properly and it can get jammed sometimes. This would be especially difficult for someone who struggles with their motor skills. Apart from the cleaning issue, it is overall a great blender and I would recommend it.
The glass is huge and heavy and the blade looks small and does not look the business in comparison, it suffices for now not sure how long it will remain sharp for, the glass will definitely outlast the blade
The point of an electric blender is convenience, or so I thought. I want to slice my onions and vegetables into the blender and watch it do it’s job. I have tried so many approaches with this blender: dicing everything so there’s little gaps, putting everything in whole so I can press down the cover to enforce pressure on the blades (like in the video), but the only way I’ve managed to use this blender is by constantly using a rod/spoon to prod the items inside towards the blade, which needless to say is really dangerous. I suspect this is a matter of design because the blades are too high, I’ve used many blenders of this size before and this is simply the worst.
In short, don’t waste your time on this, look forwards, this blender is unusable.
