I've had this since 2018. Still strong and still sharp. I've tried others that broke and had difficulty removing all of apple. This design is perfect. This is one of the few 'truly' 5-Star items I've gotten from Amazon.

Bought this to replace my older apple slicer and I was not disappointed. The blades are very sharp and cut very easily. The bottom part works great and helps to cut the apple all the way through. That was my biggest issue with my last one. I would recommend this product and when it's time for a replacement one, I will get the same kind again.

I purchased this item because my old apple slicer was hard to use, didn't cut very well.
I saw this one & it had great reviews, so I purchased it (thinking I'd return if it wasn't any better then my old one)
It arrived promptly & I used it that day.
I was amazed at how easily it sliced through my apple & how well it popped the slices out.
I use it every day & now don't dread slicing apples!
The handles are sturdy & the grip is great.
It's sharp, so be careful.
Love the color
Clean up is minimal, just a quick rinse under the faucet & air dry- its ready for the next apple.

Slice and pop. REALLY! No more accidentally slicing my fingers open trying to get the apple slices out! And it goes right into the dishwasher so I don't have to worry about slicing my fingers open while cleaning it either! These things have been around for years, why has this slice and pop concept never been imagined until now?

My husband loves this gadget. He had tried one at a friend's house and likes this one even better because it has the attached plate that swings out of the way and then back under to complete the slices and push them through for the final cut.

I’ve had mine for years and just bought another as a stocking stuffer for my daughter. Other apple corers can’t match the ingenious design of this apple corer/slicer. So unique with a base that flips underneath to easily pop out the apple slices. One of those kitchen gadgets that does not disappoint. Apple eaters will love it.

There are different apple slicers.
They all slice, but they can’t cut the slices apart at the finish point. Slices remain attached where the cutters stop cutting.
However, this tool is different. It’s a winner. It has a hinged bottom that pops the slices right out, completely and neatly.
Even the 16-piece slicer works well. I bought both.
