I really like the feel of these actually, it has that sharp edge feel on the 'cqc elite' variant very similar to Xbox One controllers. The texture and consistency is a lot like any other rubber used for joysticks so you don't get that really soft loose feel the other silicone caps have. I get slightly annoyed how smooth the Switch Pro controller joystick surfaces are and I sorta have no doubts the 'skin grip' variant provides ample texture as well.

If you are looking to raise the joystick to a cinch more in height, sadly these won't do it, the 'skin grip' and 'cqc elite' have no differences other than inner Xbox one joystick edge or no edge feel. I'd recommend the PS4 ones, which is compatible with Switch Pro controller if you are looking for that in particular. These here only provide the tallest of options that are intended for fine aiming, they are fine but aside from FPS I won't be using them.

My only gripe is installing em is that sort of a pain cause you can't keep them reversed like the Joycon and PS4 ones do so you have to sorta flick around the edges til it wraps around fully, that might just lower the lifespan of them if I decide to take em off often, but they stay really snug when installed correctly. I may just use the PS4 variant on my pro controller instead depending on how these feel for Smash, those are raised higher and are convex instead of concave.

Overall I really like all of the Skull & Co thumbstick grips, they are fantastic, every other ones on the market looks really sub par and can't compare.

P.S. PS4 ones for smash makes input heavy characters like Ryu and Ken A LOT more nuanced, wouldn't recommend if you are not aware of the subtlety of your inputs and how much returning to neutral matters, it's definitely a factor to think about.

I really like them! I'm all about skulls and I love the simplicity and the quality. I also love that there are 3 different types! I know it clearly states that they do not fit Nintendo Switch joycons and are in fact for a Pro Controller, but I couldn't find any other alternative and really loved the design!

So, yes- its a little loose on the joycons (since they're not meant for them). In fact, they pop off every now and then. It's sort of a real bummer that they don't fit snug because they are exactly what I was looking for (minus size). They feel great under my thumbs and I absolutely love how they look!

My only complaint: Please make a version to fit the joycons! I'm hoping the developers see this. This is the only reason it's 4 stars not 5.

100% must buy! If you love skulls as much as me, you'll love these for sure. Adds some customization! Worth the price.

These are very interesting thumb grips, as far as I'm concerned. They replicate the Dualshock 4's analogue stick size and texture almost perfectly. This has both positives and negatives. If you like the DS4's thumbsticks and want to preserve them, this is the perfect product. If you like the DS4's thumbsticks but wish they were raised higher, these are perfect. If you *don't* like the DS4's thumbsticks then you will want to look elsewhere. What I find incredibly interesting is that even the taller grips pretty much perfectly replicate the DS4's thumbsticks. So I took the tall pair from this pack and slapped both on the same stick to make it *extra* tall. Then I took a grip from a different pack (Foamy Lizard raised grips) and put it on top of those just to test it out. It seems the sky is the limit. You can tailor the Dualshock 4's thumbstick to pretty much the exact height you want. I'm sure 99% of people will find no use in this, but personally I'm having a blast experimenting with it.
