¿Relacion calidad-precio?

Compré la maleta hace unos seis meses, animada por las opiniones de otros usuarios.
Yo viajo con relativa frecuencia, un par de veces al mes, y procuro que no exceda de 10-13kg, aproximadamente. Es decir, hago un uso normal de la maleta.
He decir que se desliza increíblemente bien, que tiene cabida amplia, que los materiales interiores son de una calidad aceptable, y que las cremalleras funcionan bien.
Sin embargo, tiene un punto débil importante en el que no caí cuando la compré, y es la cremallera de acordeón que permite ampliar la cabida interior un par de centímetros más.
La maleta se abre en dos mitades, unidas por una cremallera, que tiene, a su vez, otra paralela que es la que podemos abrir para darle más cabida (la famosa “cremallera de acordeón).
Pues bien, cuando se transporta la maleta, y se coge por el asa de arriba (para subir aceras, escaleras, subirla al portamaletas en un avión o en un tren etc), digamos (a ver si me explico bien), que en realidad, al tirar del asa, estamos tirando de esa mitad de la maleta, y esa mitad, tracciona de la otra mitad de la cremallera.
Las dos mitades de la maleta tienen “demasiadas” cremalleras entre ellas, lo que hace que ambas mitades queden separadas un par de centímetros, lo suficiente para que, al cogerla del asa superior, el peso queda descompensado, “tira” de las cremalleras, y acaban por desgajarse (se desgajan desde la carcasa), que fué lo que me ha pasó a mi, y me parece un claro defecto de calidad de la maleta.
Yo opté por devolverla, Amazon no me ha puesto ningún inconveniente, estaba en garantía.
Diría que esta maleta es buena compra si se va a hacer un uso ocasional de ella, no para darle trote.

I bought this is April of 2018. I should mention that I travel a fair amount, about 15 trips a year, each one consisting of two or three legs each way, for a total of about six airplanes per month. Obviously, most people travel less, but many travel much more. A couple months ago, I started having trouble collapsing the telescoping handle - it would stick and I would have to try a few times before it went down past half way. On my latest trip, in December of 2018, no amount of wiggling and jiggling would get the handle to collapse past halfway. The lower spring-loaded stud that locks the handle in the extended position would not retract when the handle button was pushed on one side. Just that one stud was no longer responding to the button. I can push the stud in by hand and collapse the handle, but since the lower stud is INSIDE the suitcase, that means opening the suitcase, sliding my hand under the clothing packed inside, unzipping the inner liner, finding the stud and pushing it in. Not practical. I guess for $50 I should not have had high expectations, but $50 every 8 months for a small rollaboard is a bit pricey. I'll be getting a brand name next time.

Zipper broke quickly

I purchased this suitcase for a quick 2 week trip back home. It fits a lot of things and space wise is a great option as a carry on.

I did feel like if I sent it as a checked back it could crack or something so I avoided that.

While going through TSA they asked me to open my bag and while doing so the zipper broke (worst timing) - keep in mind that this was probably the 10th or 15th time ever that I used that zipper.

Not made to last in my opinion. Sending it back now.

For two years, I couldn't be happier with my Amazon carry-on. It performed exactly as advertised, and everything worked great - until it didn't. Boarded a plane recently and handle wouldn't collapse. While the shell of the carry-on held up well (see picture), the functionality did not (see video). Not sure what Amazon thinks is appropriate for a product with their name on it, but my sense is 24 months isn't long enough to call this product durable.
