Good value for the grill protection

Bought for my grill which I keep year-round outside on the deck. It’s exposed to sun, rain, sleet, you name it. All year round. I bought a name-brand grill cover when I first bought the grill. It lasted about 2 years in those conditions. It was more expensive than this one. I tried this one for the price and it lasted 3 years. I was happy and so I bought it again. As long as they keep the price like this, I’ll keep buying for its durability and protection.

Update: My warranty request was reviewed and they shipped a new cover within days! Awesome customer service. We will see how the new cover holds up and I will update accordingly! Knocked off one star due to the durability of the first cover. We will see!

I purchased this cover 3/3/18 for my BGE. Looked awesome out of the package and did well for the first few months. Then the webbing on the tie down strap deteriorated and broke just by touching it. Didn’t really care cause the cover was awesome. Fast forward to today. I noticed that the cover material has now also degraded and the material is brittle. Three small holes have appeared. Shame, I really liked the cover until now! I have filed a warranty claim, will update this review upon the response. As of now, I can’t recommend.

Lasts about a year in direct weather

This is my second. The first lasted about a year in direct Texas sun and weather. Wish it lasted a little better, but considering the brutal weather it went through, I’d rather this than leaving our Large Big Green Egg (which it fits perfectly) in the elements.

I bought this for a medium big green egg. I had told my husband to buy this from the start, but he wasn't into buying it then. So after 2 months maybe he finally said he wanted a cover for it. This seemed like it was a good waterproof cover etc. Its much nicer buying from them since all big green egg products can get expensive as most of you might know! We received our big green egg as a house warming gift. My husband smokes and had always wanted one, but it was something he'd never shell out the money for. He could never justify paying that much. I'm glad I can turn to Amazon to help save a little bit of money and protect this big expensive product. Works well!

Way too big. My egg is 28 inches round so I thought it might not fit because it says 27 inches. I took a chance and omg it’s huge. It has to be at least 40 long. It’s more for a along grill then a round egg. But as long as it keeps it protected i will be happy. I only have it one day so I don’t know if it will last or

High quality materials. Ignore the previous posts about poor materials. One of them complaining about color change likely has mold which is an individual environmental factor (wet, damp, no direct sunlight, etc.)
Note that it stops about 12 inches above the ground, and you must have the side tables down to have it fit.
This fits perfectly Primo Large Round, Big Green Egg Large, Kamado Joe Classic.
Other products not made for Kamado grills like the one in the link below are too narrow (24'' deep to fit a Kamado round grill)

Cinch hard on the elastic tie that goes circumferentially around the bottom and loop the plastic strap and clip around a leg or cross bar on the lowest part of your grill to keep the cover on during wind.

Good but short

I love the build and quality of this cover. Great features like a drawstring on the bottom, a clip to securely attach the cover to the grill leg, vents and handles on each side, and heavy duty fabric set this cover apart. But, the description says it fits a large big green egg. Not quite.... I think it was designed before the handle redesign for the big green egg. My grill's handle is wider than the old design and I think the extra room it requires inside the cover ends up making this cover just a hair short. It doesn't quite cover the grill all the way down to the legs. That said, it does seem to cover enough to provide adequate protection from the elements.

I just purchased my second Veranda Big Green Egg Grill Cover. Unlike traditional black covers, this one holds up great against weather. Very good quality material, thick, and easy fit for my X-Large Egg.

My first one lasted me about 3 and a half years before a small tear appeared around the area of the egg cover springs. But 2+ years for a grill cover is great in my book!

I don't know why there are so many low reviews for this product as I have had no issues and think it is well made, especially for the price. It would have gotten 5 stars, but the opening at the bottom is a touch tight considering the table sides I have on my Large BGE. 2-4 more inches of wiggle room would have made it perfect. No rain issues, nor fading issues. Really like it and going to but one for my Gas grill now.
