Ho acquistato un Weber compact che non aveva in dotazione il termometro così a parte ho acquistato anche questo termometro. Alla Vista sembra bello robusto e sembra segnare bene i gradi all interno dell bbq. Unica nota negativa crea condensa sotto il vetrino che evapora una volta in uso ma è comunque fastidiosa. Per il resto fa il suo dovere
Es muy preciso, lo he probado en una olla, con agua, y cerca de los 100c que marcaba, empezaba a hervir, para los que tengáis dudas, vale para hornos de una cocina de leña/carbón, para ollas, para barbacoas... Por 10€ no os lo penséis, compradlo!
When I am smoking smaller amounts of meat, I like to use the Weber Kettle instead of my larger smoker. Only issue I had with it was there was no thermometer built into it. I was forced to place a thermometer into one of the vent holes, but that was not ideal, as could only close top vent up to where the thermometer stem blocked any further vent movement. So decided to get one that I could actually mount into the lid. Needed to get one that had a threaded post to accommodate wing nut to install it. Saw this one, price seem reasonable and looked easy to install and easy to read. Installation was easy, a 3/8 hole is needed to accommodate the threaded portion ( I found it easier to first use a 5/16 drill bit and then enlarged hole with the 3/8 inch bit), insert and tighten wing nut and it was installed. The thermometer itself is pretty responsive and when I compared it with my previous stick in the vent one, it was reading almost the same +/- 2 degrees F, which is acceptable for smoking use. Very happy with this thermometer, it was easy to install, easy to read, and accurate.
