I use plenty of 9V batteries in my musical gear so I always try to buy them in bulk. The problem with that is that you have to keep the contacts from getting shorted, and you have to store them in something until you need to use them. These are perfect. The way they're made, you can put the battery in contact-side down which will prevent (nearly) anything from being able to short those contacts, or you can put them in contact side up if you buy batteries that have their own contact covers (like I do). For the price, I don't think you could find a simpler, lighter, smaller solution for carrying or storing your 9V batteries.
I have many store a cell in various configurations and battery sizes. All the 9v I have ordered are EXTREMELY tight and difficult to get the batteries in and out of. I only use energizer lithium so that may be the issue but it is something to be aware of.
I wanted something to hold batteries in my "electronics" ditty bag in our teardrop trailer, where storage space is always at a premium. I used to keep my batteries separated by size in small ziploc bags but I've been on the lookout for a heavier-duty plastic version. The exceed my exceptions - heavy duty, nice molding, batteries slide in and out easily, terminal ends are protected and made in the USA. We use AAA batteries the most (old mp3 player, flashlights, etc) but batteries always seem to run out when we're boondocking so I ended up buying holders for AA (personal fans), C (bug zapper), D (lantern), and 9-volt (weather radio). I also bought another set for our battery drawer.
