The picture doesn't do this justice on the product description. I know the measurements are available but, I admit, I didn't look at them and so I was pleasantly surprised by the actual size of this grill for camping. Similar items start at $6 more per item for the exact same thing. As a novice camper I wasn't sure how necessary this would be until I went camping for the first time. If you're going to build your own fire it is almost a necessity to have some type of apparatus set up so that cooking can be done over the fire. The material is sturdy and built to be used over the fire so it is long lasting. Can't wait to use the grill through summer!
Good quality, well made and versatile. First use was to tie the legs up with wire and place the whole thing across a fire pit where it held a Dutch oven at one end and a large frying pan at the other. Just as easily used with legs. Successful purchase.
Really like this grill a lot. I have four Grandsons, we do a lot of,"backyard camping", cooking. The two sides of the, rack, has a, close together, hot dogs, side, and a further apart spacers. You can use it flat, or spread out the legs. It is tall enough that you can use a, coffee can stove, under it.Long enough to put two coffee cans under, side by side.
Very light, sturdy and practical for a grill on the go. I purchased 2 for a backpacking trip. We wanted to do some serious cooking, but not to use just logs or rocks to hold heavy cookware. We use them as a table for food prep and as table to dry cookware, (as shown on pics). Easy to carry. The legs are foldable . I have no cons regarding this product. It does what it is meant to do.
