Quality not so great!

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter who is learning to read time. It arrived in a good package. The pictures look great than the actual watch itself. The quality of the watch dial is ok. It doesn’t feel like a Timex quality watch. It has a stretchable band which is easy to wear, tighten and remove. This watch doesn’t have a backlight, which is a shame so there is no way you can see the time in the dark. It is not water resistant either. Would not recommend. But my daughter loved this watch. Timex needs to improve their quality!

I bought this watch 2 years ago for my 7 year old daughter. The face was clear, the 'to' and 'past' labelling was helpful, and she learned to tell the time with this watch. However the strap quickly became shabby and distorted - curling, twisting and fading - and I was unable to buy a replacement for a price less than the purchase price of the entire watch. After 2 years the watch started mysteriously stopping and starting - changing the battery made no difference. I suppose at 9 1/2 she is probably ready for a more mature style - but I did expect the watch to last longer than 2 years.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter. She was glad when it arrived as she was having trouble telling the time. My daoughter picked this watch because it had hours and minutes written on the hands which she kept getting mixed up.

The face, for me was a bit hard to read with it being so small. The glass got cracked within 2 days.

The watch needs to be able to stand up to the abuse inflicted by active kids. She doesn't wear it anymore because of the cracked face.

The watch did help her when she was wearing it. They are a great idea and helps kids that bit more freedom as when they are out playing you can tell them to come back at a certain time. For that I'd give it 5 stars, but I took one away as the face is so small it's hard to read and I took another star off for it cracking so easily.
