A good sturdy tray. I bought this primarily for making gingerbread because my other trays bent in the heat (170deg Fan). Can't comment on higher temperatures, but so far my gingerbread has come out of the oven flat and evenly baked. I never put items like this in the dishwasher as I think the chemicals etch the surfaces too much (you only have to see what they do to your fancy mugs). Not a problem to clean by hand with a bit of washing up liquid and a few minutes soaking if necessary. As for the problem with the rolled edge holding water, its a small price to pay for a sturdy edge on the tray. I just let it drain on the rack right side up for a bit or if I'm in a hurry stick the clean tray back in the warm oven for a bit.
Now buying my second pair of these. I do like them -very solid, feel well made, but in common with other reviewers, I have had rusty water dripping out of the rolled edges after removing from the dishwasher. The last pair have lasted about 5 years, with heavy use, so have done well, but most of the non-stick coating is flaking off now. They are supposed to be dishwasher proof but I am going to wash these by hand from now on and store them on their sides so nothing can damage them -I did have them under other trays so i may be to blame.
The other trays are also Master Class, of different sizes, bought at the same time, but lasting much better, with intact non-stick coating in spite of dishwashing. If these don;t last, inspite of my improved handlng, I will invoke the guarantee -20 years on the tray and 5 years on the non-stick coating. I suspect I wont have to.
The old trays have come in very handy as they are exacly the right size to hold a couple of seed trays with this years tomatoes and peppers germinating in them!
Overall this is a very good baking tray. I've been using it a few times a week for a couple of months - there are no signs of wear and the non-stick is still very good (though I've only hand-washed it). 4 stars because you can often find equivalent trays a little cheaper (eg sainsburys cook's collection when it's on special offer), and also because the there's a patch where the finish is quite rough on the underside.
The Masterclass trays I have purchased looked very strong and substantial however, after having used them, I have been very frustrated. The surfaces of the trays are badly marked and resist all reasonable types of cleaning.
For the most part, I am very happy with this baking sheets. It's large, reasonably heavy/sturdy, and the non-stick works very well. It cleans up quite easily. My only complaint is that it DOES warp in the oven. It pops back into shape as soon as it cools down, so that's something, but it still does the thing it says it won't do.
Just a minor problem - out of the dishwasher be prepared to catch a little water which lodge in the edge - a dishcloth takes care of it - otherwise very sturdy.
Update on my original review which applied to the original set of 4 I bought a couple of years earlier.
Now only two star ( Won't use one star - Hate is not a word I would use) The none stick began to break down - so ok I ordered three more A VERY DIERENT KETTLE OF FISH. The quality had slipped more than just a little and now 6 months later I have had to scrap two and I have now ordered an alternative.
