My five year old loves this thing as well as the rest of the neighbors. My daughter is five, but the neighbors vary in age from 2 to 8 and they all love it. They can all use it without too much trouble and the battery has lasted a long time so far! Just make sure to turn both the remote and the truck to off after use. I'm really surprised how well it's holding up with all the hits it has taken and used it more than she was able to.
