Been using on a Weber Genesis 4burner, it works well in terms of turning on when lifting the lid but I would have liked the brightness to be higher. It’s difficult to really ensure how foods is cooking with the light it produces. Never the less decent product if happy to pay more

Nach kurzer Recherche und einigen Lampen von Drittanbietern bin ich doch wieder bei Weber gelandet. Und was soll ich sagen: ich bin begeistert. Ich habe an meinem Grill mittlerweile 2x dieser Lampen (wobei selbst 1 die Grillfläche von 90x40 bestens ausleuchten würde), aber ich habe gerne auch bei der Sizzle Zone Licht, was damit gewährleistet ist. Und auch sonst macht Weber fast alles richtig, wo andere schlicht versagen...

+ die Lampe ist angenehm und vor allem ausreichend hell.
+ das Grill'n'Go Prinzip, die Lampe also schnell und unkompliziert abmachen zu können, ist genial. Nicht nur für`s Grillen an sich, sondern auch um die Lampen (z.B. im Winter) im hausinneren zu lagern (schadet den Akkus sicherlich nicht).
+ die Akkus werden oben eingesetzt. Keine Ahnung was sich andere HErsteller dabei denken, diese unten an der Lampe einzusetzen und dann zu schreiben "...ist nicht für starke Hitze geeignet. Bitte nicht länger bei offenem Deckel grillen...".
+ die Lampe ist zwar nicht wasserdicht (untertauchen etc.), aber dennoch wetterbeständig (Regen, Schnee usw. ). Man glaubt es nicht wie viele Lampen da draußen nicht mal das sind.
+ der Bewegungssensor (an/aus bei offenen und geschlossenem Deckel) ist Gold wert.
+ das Alu/Edelstahlfinish sieht bei einem Edelstahlgrill einfach genial aus.

- die Lampe ist, weber typisch, einfach teuer.

Fazit:
Ich grille gerne, ganzjahres und leider unüberdacht. In dieser Konstellation ist die Lampe ein echter Mehrwert und auch wenn es eine Stirnlampe, für einen Bruchteil, auch täte, so danken es mir alle Mitgriller (da diese permanent blind waren, wenn ich die Stirnlampe mal wieder vergessen hatte) und final ich selbst, weil es einfach Spaß macht.

Teuer? Ja. Gut? Auf jeden Fall ... eine klare Empfehlung und viele schöne Grillabende da draußen.

Entgegen mancher Einschätzungen aus dem englisch-sprachigen Raum, sieht das Grillicht top aus und ist hell genug für eine nächtliche Grillsession. Wasserdichte stabile Ausführung und es schaltet sich automatisch ab, wenn der Grill geschlossen wird.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Der Preis ist sicher hoch, aber tolles Teil!

Empfehle allerdings, die Klebeflächen der Aufnahme nicht zu verwenden. So kann man das Licht nachher noch justieren.

I bought this to replace a grill light on my Weber grill that had seen better days. It fits perfectly on the handle of my Weber grill. Takes only a few minutes to install and 3 AAA batteries are provided. Once installed, turn the light on and there's a mercury switch that will turn it on when the grill cover is open, and turn it back off when it's shut. This is much brighter and has a wider field of illumination than my old light. Recommended - especially for the night grillers out there.

I spent more on this light, because I wanted something nicer to match my premium trim Weber grill. This light makes it look really cheap. I almost want to just take it off, but it was hard to install properly with snapping the plastic ends together. I really hate the look of this, and thought I could just take it on and off relatively easily, but you can't. It's screwed on, and snapped together.

If you're buying this because of the looks, don't do it. It looks terrible for the cost. If you can, just look into buying a light to place behind you, or one of those wrap around ones on a metal rod. Those would look better, and you can hide them when you're not using it better.
