I've had my Weber Performer BBQ for 20 years now. It's still going strong with the enamel drum still in good condition.
Inevitably you have to replace the grill and grate after a certain period of time due to wear and tear.
This replacement certainly feels heavier than the original and is very well made. Same as the grate which came on a separate order.
It's a false economy buying a cheaper 'lookilikey' versions as they are invariably thinner, possibly a bit smaller diameter wise and rust very easily.
Weber is by far the best. More than happy. A worthwhile investment.
