This product may be a bit more expensive than other popular degreasers out there but it’s totally worth it. I purchased a gallon of “industrial strength,” advertised as PRO degreaser and the Weber spray bottle and did a side by side test on the same dirty grids from my outdoor bbq grill. Weber worked faster and better. Fact. I won’t return the gallon bottle of the other brand as it cleans ok and will try it on other surfaces but Weber is the winner for my grill. I hope this helps.

I love this cleaner!

Spray it on grill grease, and it starts to break it down right away. Most effective when you can leave it on for a few minutes and then wipe off the mess (use gloves and paper towels).

I have a Weber Traveler with the enamel-coated cast iron grill grates. I use this spray on the grates, and then I soak them in my sink with Dawn and scrub to get off all the cooking residue. However... I WOULD be able to use those grates with just this spray as a cleaner.

This cleaner does its best work inside the grill. though. The grease and grime on the bottom of my grill that accumulate after cooking are pretty easily eliminated with a few sprays of Weber Grill Grate Cleaner and some paper towels.

I plan to always have this on hand!

The best description is that I had a smile on my face all day because I found something that is non-toxic and melts away grease like butter. This is probably the only review I have ever done on Amazon and that is because how strongly I feel about the product. Consider a barbeque grill grate in continuous use for 8 months, almost never cleaned and badly corroded from the salt air near the sea. Voila! The perfect test platform for this product.

I followed the package directions, liberally spraying the grate and waiting at least a minute before scrubbing it with a wire grill brush. An amazing amount of burnt burgers and barbeque sauce came off, along with a fair portion of the rust. I rinsed and repeated the process two more times until I got a like-new grill grate.

Yes, it took three passes to get it completely clean, but I think anything stronger would have been too caustic for home use, probably requiring an EPA permit and a HAZMAT suit to use. I am now, officially, no longer too lazy to properly clean my barbeque grill grate after each use, thanks to this product.
