Ok, let's put a few repeated questions to bed. The iGrill 2 came with 2 (two) probes, fitted with yellow and red tags (more of this later); there is no ambient probe supplied. I did also purchase the ambient probe to allow better control of temperature when cooking indirectly. Although the ambient probe is supplied with tags fitted, the other colour tags are also supplied, allowing the user to change these - I replaced the red tags with the blue ones, as this colour was not already in use (could also have been green, but this colour is used by the ambient probe). Removal of these was easy - they just slipped off, but fitting the others proved entertaining due to the shape of the probe plug - a little liquid soap sorted that out.
Power consumption. Some reviewers commented about battery life; this unit uses an LED display rather than an LCD one to improve visibility; because LED's have a higher power consumption, battery life will be shorter. Remember to remove the batteries if the unit is not going to be used for a while - firstly to prolong battery life and secondly to ensure that the batteries do not leak inside the unit.
