One of my laptops has only 1 USB 3.0 port and this is not enough for me.
In order to get the fastest transfer of data to my USB 3.0 memory sticks, external drives and other devices - I often need more than one thing plugged in at the same time.
- It holds four items at once with adequate space between ports;
- It is thin and small, so fits easily in my laptop bag;
- It has a little LED light to tell you it's On;
- Looks nice and well-made.
I have now been using this for a few months, I simply cannot find any faults it works and works well !

I bought 2 of these products, one for an iMac and one for a PC. I liked the small size with the light weight. The long USB cord was also nice because the USB ports are located on the top of the tower of the PC, so the hub can comfortably plug into it and rest on the desk without hanging. The hub allows for very fast data transfer and the plug and play functionality makes it incredibly easy to use. Great product!

I was going to get an 8 port but this is on a secondary PC and it would have been overkill. I took a chance and am very happy with this device. It runs at USB3 speeds and the cable is a few feet long so I don't have to have it stretched super tight. I have had 4 devices connected and it works excellent. The price of this hub is also excellent. If you are on the fence or looking at a few you can't go wrong with this device.

It isn't powered which didn't cause me any issues. If your trying to use 4 very high powered devices you may want to look into a powered hub.

Smaller than I expected, neat, well built, does the job. First use in a USB2 PC all sockets worked and in a USB3 PC transfer rates were nice and fast. Would have helped if the instructions mentioned what sort of PSU needed to make it a powered hub (5v, 2A, 3.5mm jack) but no big deal as that information is stated on its Amazon page. Of course no idea how it will actually last; only had it a couple of hours so far :-)
