this watch is nice looking, but TINY - much smaller than I thought from the photo. It's impossible to see that the time-teaching help is there, let alone read it. I recommend this one instead: Peppa Pig Time Teaching Watch it has two removable teach the time rings - one with 5 past, 10 past etc, and one with .05 ... .55. When the child knows how to tell the time, the rings can be left off all together, leaving a cute watch.
Nice looking watch, and I though this was the perfect time teacher watch, great design. However, the watch "glass" is cheap plastic which is now so scratched in normal use that you cannot read the watch face. Its not proper watch plexiglass - it very soft plastic which given I paid £16 for it is rubbish. Go for a different one - I've now replaced with with another just 3 months on.
The watch is rather small (but then it is a child's watch) making the dial a little cramped. But by far the worst aspect is the fabric strap. It has no conventional buckle so simply slides apart while worn. You really need to factor in the cost of a replacement strap.
When asked about the poor strap, Timex suggested sewing it together!
