Nice Full Featured Earbuds

So following a thanksgiving eve car break-in I was looking for a replacement for my Bose QC earbuds. I decided I didnt want to pay the premium price for the BOSE I decided to go fishing in the sub $100 waters.

The EAH-AZ40-N featured mono playback in either earbud, a rich sound, bluetooth multipoint connection, just my voice for better call clarity, and a $90 price point for the Rose Gold ($20 less than black), as well as a $12 discount coupon. Great price so here we go!

1. Packed in a nice box with assorted ear tips. The color is as shown in the photo.
2. The charging case uses USB-C cables and comes shipped without charge! Interesting concept. Charged pretty quickly on my 65 watt charger. The charging case has a single multicolor led. Page 7 has the decoder key for the colors .. green is good, yellow medium, red is low, cyan (blue) means earphones are being charged.
3. The units come shipped with the medium sized ear tip installed. I was surprised that the XS seemed to fit me best! They ride firmly in my ear and were comfortable.
4. I like the mono earphone mode with either side. I tend to use when I am messing about and want to be able to hear my wife for instructions and questions.
5. Stereo sound is quite nice with good bass. I have not done much testing yet. I am not an audiophile.
6. The Technics Audio Connect application provides setup for the Ambient Sound Feature, Equalizer and other features. It not very sophisticated compared to Bose and Sony apps but it gets the job done on Android.
7. Pairing is achieved by removing both earbuds from the charger and touching the control plate on one of the earbuds for 7 seconds. The little led on the inside earbud begins flashing red/blue. Pairing then proceeds as usual.
8. Multipoint works well. I am sitting here with an android tablet, Samsung s20+ phone, and windows 10 PC. Start sound on one and the earphones connect. Stop Playback and start it on another device and the earphones connect .. So easy. It will not wrestle with sounds from multiple devices, you have to control the playback and the earbuds will get the sound.
9. The charging case does not seem very rugged .. we will see how it holds up. I have ordered a pouch to give it some protection in my man-bag.
10. Phone calls seem to work quite well, limiting the background noise. More testing to come.

Ok, too many words. Nicely priced Full Featured Earbuds that sound Great.

These are so great for listening to music at the gym, running, doing chores around the house. They are so comfortable to wear, they stay in place no matter what you’re doing and the sound quality is excellent! And you can get 7.5 hours from a single charge. And a huge plus for me is that they make call quality so much better. The mic’s noise canceling feature minimizes background noise so your voice goes through all the more clearly.

Ok so first off the sound quality is really good good and they are very comfortable. But the noise cancelation doesn't work that well so they are not really loud enough. But the biggest downsides are the "ambient sond" feature which is really just interference that sounds like static. I mean really, you can choose to make you music/ podcasts/ audio books sound like complete garbage with this "feature", it's crap. And the worst thing is the phone call quality. I can't get rid of the ambient sound in the phone call for some reason. And the mic quality is absolutely terrible. I thought it was just that it was loud at work because I'm operating machines. But no, if I'm doing anything other than sitting in my living whoever I'm talking to spends the entire call complaining about the sound. I had to send them back. I really wanted to like them, but they're just not for me. If you are looking for ear buds just to go to the gym, these should do just fine though. Like I said the sound quality is really good and I don't think I said enough about how comfortable they are. It sucks I have to send them back

I was looking for an upgraded higher end pair of earbuds when I caught these on a Black Friday sale. I was really curious how well the multi device connectivity would work and was not disappointed. I use these everyday at work between listening to music or taking calls. I love the fact that I can connect these to both my work cell phone and my personal phone at the same time. A lot of the time I listen to music while I do my computer work but would occasionally miss a call on my work phone. With these earbuds I can now be confident that I won’t miss any calls. The sound quality whether you are on calls or listening to music is fantastic, deep bass and the highest of highs with music. Calls and web based computer meetings works equally as well, they have functionality also to lessen background noise both ways. The setting to allow ambient noise around to be amplified is also a new experience to me with earbuds, and it works very well. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in the market for an upgrade to earbuds to go ahead and purchase this set and I most definitely do not regret my purchase of them.

I bought these for work to use for conference calls. So far no issues with sound quality from either end. Battery life is a little disappointing as they typically don't even make it to lunch before needed to be topped back off. Wish the case was wireless as well. Otherwise not a bad deal. Multipoint works well.

Le di la oportunidad a Technics, estaba primero en mente marcas como Bose, Sennheiser, SkulCandy … pero por el descuento que tenían cuando los adquirí estoy satisfecho, el problema es que no tienen buena cancelación de ruido a diferencia de Sure (gama similar) o Airpods Pro obviamente mucho mejor que Sony, Pioneer o similares.

The earbuds are super lightweight (including the case) and high quality. It says water resistance and it is real!!! I accidentally dropped one into a sink filled with water. I picked it up panicking but it was totally fine (phewwww). The metal is like brushed matte rose gold, super pretty! It comes with different sizes silicone ear pieces for better fitting. I love how they have an app for this. Can customize to different bass / vocal and stuff like that. Battery is decent. I only need to charge them twice a week max if use it less frequent, every other night if use it more in a day. The only thing I’m not quite sure is the noise cancellation. I don’t really get that even I tried to adjust it with the app. It was okay but not like what I expected. Overall, I think this is great product with the value.

They don't go as loud as others I've had and the sound quality is clear but there's not any bass really. I listen to rock and classical, etc but highs are clear. Just not worth the money when I can get cheaper ones with same clarity plus bass
