After the overall good review; this is a huge disappointment.
The package was'nt sealed and it looks very much like a previously returned item. The pictures are misleading! Tools shown on the picture are not the same as delivered. Tool package is as well not sealed and dirty.
!!!!!! Does NOT include: !!!!! 1 x Non-Dust Cloth 1 x Instructions 1 x Waterproof Adhesive Especially the missing adhesive is a big minus!!
As described it was Xs not X so perfect it came with tools and clear back cover and front glass sticker for free as a bonus.5/5 would buy again. I will update this review months later after lengthy use
I go through atleast 3 screens a year so when I say this is the best you can find it is I usually get the $40-$60 screens but I came up short with money. I paid $20 for this screen and I am amazed at what I got not only did I get a screen buy they send you good screwdrivers not the cheap ones that beak after one use they send a screen protector and even a cheap case for your phone you won’t even come close to that kind of thoughtfulness with the more expensive screens. So if your concerns are that it’s too cheap and there arnt many reviews take what I say into consideration
I am amazed with the quality of this product, from packing, to instructions and colour performance of the screen as well as how the touch screen works with no issues.
One and only issue: Y000 screw provided is almost unusable, it doesn't grip the screws tightly enough and after unscrewing 5 screws, the 6th one eventually worn out to a point that it was impossible to remove. I ended up melting the corner of the speaker assembly to let it loose.
In short, it is an A+ screen, but you may want to get a separate Y000 screwdriver.
Got this replacement for my iPhone XS. Just to point out, this is not an OLED screen like the original, this is LCD. As a result, the bezels are slightly larger. However, it takes a phone that is useless and brings it back to life. The included instructions were sufficient, bit I also followed a YouTube tutorial by iFixit as a backup. Relatively straight forward. Just be prepared that it's not going to look exactly like the original. However, it functions well with no errors.
Works as intended. But some things I noted: You have to bend some of the clips so that the screen will sit flush with the bezel. Brightness seems to be high all the time, unless you turn it to the lowest setting on the phone. Drains the battery quicker, but is expected because this screen is LCD and not OLED. Colour saturation is excellent, but far more blue hues than there should be.
But overall, a cheap screen replacement that you can do yourself.
This screen looks no different than the original screen however sometimes the touch screen seems like it doesn’t work the best. It was so easy to switch out. Took less than 30 minutes. I would recommend for a cheaper option from the OLED screen.
