Directions

Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm. Keep the area dry. If the product has a specified duration of use, rinse off after this time has elapsed. Otherwise rinse off after 24 hours. If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.

Product description

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) can attract up to 1,000 times its weight in water. The molecular size of HA determines its depth of delivery in the skin. This formulation combines low-, medium- and high-molecular weight HA, as well as a next-generation HA cross polymer at a combined concentration of 2% for multi-depth hydration. This system is supported with the addition of Vitamin B5 which also enhances surface hydration. A more advanced HA formulation with 15 forms of HA, including precursors of HA, is offered by our brand NIOD in Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex. THE ORDINARY Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrator

Note: Hyaluronic Acid is found in the skin naturally but its natural function within the skin is not hydration. Many products have used HA to claim hydration benefits, but HA is too large of a molecule to penetrate the skin and instead sits on the surface and can draw moisture out of the skin making the surface feel soft and hydrated temporarily, while making you feel like you need more HA after the product is rinsed. This formula uses three forms of HA with varying molecular weights, as well as an HA crosspolymer, to offer multi-depth hydration and visible plumping without drawing water out of the skin solely to improve temporary surface hydration.

Directions

Apply a few drops to face AM and PM before creams. If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised.

Not sure which one of them is the culprit or maybe all. I started using the ordinary product three weeks ago, i ordered moisturizer, hyaluronic acid and the glycolic toner. Ive started to notice after 2 days of use that my face gets dark even though i used it as per instructed only and soooo oily. Then i got pimples which are huge and painful and followed by the blackheads and noticeable pigmentation. I tried only the ordinary line because
I was hearing good things about but its really not for my akin type.

With one application on my face, i got blisters and full of acne as well as rashes.
The bottle dont have expiry date mentioned.
I requested for refund, dont buy this product guys as its a FAKE product

My picture before i apply this product was better. After application ny face become more dark and full of rashes

On opening, the product was more watery than the original and the batch code was printed not on the bottle itself (as per the original) but rather on a label that was then stuck onto the side of the bottle. These factors are known identifiers for counterfeit products. Wife is not pleased...

On the box, it had said The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid but when I had opened the package, there was a bottle of Niacinamide inside. But the bottle had a barcode sticker which had said Hyaluronic. I would advise you not to buy this product.

I combine it always with Evian face spray or Avene Thermal Water for more hydration and it makes wonders. My skin definitely needs it. Really recommend this product.
