No screen protectors and immediately failed

I purchased two different color cases, both from the Aomax Tech vendor. The purple case arrived in a plastic box with the promised screen protectors. The red one came in a plastic bag without screen protectors, even though it cost $4 more at the time of sale (what, I like red).

If that wasn't annoying enough, it failed literally the first time I used the case on my car mount. The case was on the phone for maybe 30 minutes, and I didn't even get to pull out of my parking spot before the cheap glue connecting the flat part of the ring mount to the rest of the case disconnected, promptly dropping my new phone. So, thanks, for that.

I suppose you could scrape off the cheap glue and crazy glue it together as long as you don't glue the part that allows it to rotate stuck. That said, I'm not waiting on failure 3. Going to give it one last chance and try my luck with another vendor after returning the wreck I got, before I give up completely on this model and look for another case.

Exactly what I needed

This comes with a few extras, which was nice right out of the package. It had not just one screen protector, but 2. The downside, it's actually a little bit too small, but if you can place it just right it won't interfere with anything you need to see or click, so it still works. They also included 2 sets of dry/wet lens wipes and 2 stickers. Not sure if stickers are same or random for everyone, but mine has a rose and a LOL sticker.

Anyhow, my main worry was that the case might not leave sufficient space to be able to remove the stylus, but it does. The case does feel a little cheap based on previous "cheap" cases I've bought but were actually well made and durable. Between that and the slightly too small screen protector it lost a star, but overall I am happy with it. I like the ring in the back is metal for the phone holders to hook onto if like that kind of phone holder, and also that the ring turns to help support phone in both portrait and landscape positions. However, that's mainly the part that feels cheap and worry it might not last long. The ring is very important to me as I carry a lot around and having a reliable ring so I can carry it worry free hanging from my finger so not in the way of other stuff. If I have to add a ring to it because it breaks, it will block the metal piece in the middle of the area and there is no other good place to add a ring to it.

Hopefully it holds up because otherwise, I like the sleek style and purple color I chose. I chose a black one for my husbands phone. So far he is happy with it too other than not liking the screen protector being a little small. He has had his for over a week now as the stores keep running out of the phone and had to buy our phones a week apart from different stores.

Great case! Crappy features

Case fits great and allows clear access to cameras and fingerprint sensor. Case extends beyond the front of the phone to protect against screen-down falls. I've dropped it on my tile floor multiple times and it has held up.

HOWEVER - the metal plate on the back of the case is WAY too small to be able to support the weight of the phone. If you have a magnetic holder in your vehicle, it will grip but then fall off after you go over the first speedbump. The ring/kickstand is also an awkward shape and way too narrow. If you have an adult-sized hand, you will have to open, then rotate the ring 45 degrees to use it comfortably. Then when you are finished using the ring, you have to rotate it back before closing it. The older version of these cases with the square magnet/ring were much better.

The magnet in the back is too small for the weight of the phone. It keeps sliding off and landing in the floor of my car. Also, the small metal piece on the back keeps coming off.
