If you're looking to have a standing cabled experience you will need to tether the cable onto something, at least some part of your body, else the force is mostly borne by the teeny USB-C connector which I doubt will end well. Best to hang it from the ceiling if you can.

If you're sitting then no need for any o that, though most of the cable's gonna be coiled up taking up space. But that's no big deal.

I just got it 2 days back and so far so good. When Oculus performs the link test it shows 1.6 gbps which is definitely good enough, there is no lag or stutter while playing heavy games like half life alyx. It also charges the quest, I don't know why some reviewers say it doesn't. I just hope it's durable, only time will tell

Connected to my USB 3.2 gen 1 port (capable of up to 5GBPS) the oculus usb test shows 3GBPS which is more than capable for VR. I believe the limit is due to the oculus rather than the cable.

The cable itself is thick and heavy which is less suitable though. It comes with a velcro cable tie which can be used to strap the cable to the headset strap if using a suitable one. It straps to the Elite strap but you might not want to as they are prone to snapping, works better on the Halo headset strap as that is more sturdy.

I would recommend the Fasgear USB C to usb c 10ft cable instead which has a braided cable that is lighter but just as tough/durable and costs about 35% less. My problem is my new PC does not have a USB-c port so I got this. I also got an adapter so the Fasgear cable works and gets the same speeds.

Great product! Works perfectly, angled cable end makes it perfect to attach using a standard velcro cable management strip.

Cable is a little on the thick side but personally i run my chair over my cables that much sometimes that having a thicker cable is great!

An sich ein super Ladekabel für die Quest 2.
Aber...
Das Kabel ist ein Ticken dicker als das Original von Oculus, was dazu führt das es eher star ist und Nerven kann wenn man es nicht mit Kabelbinder nochmal hinten am Kopf befestigt, damit des die Bewegungen der Arme nicht behindert.

Ansonsten kann ich mich nicht beklagen und um so dicker das Kabel, umso besser ist es abgeschirmt, vor Daten Störung oder Kabelbruch.

In diesem Sinne muss man abwägen was für einen persönlich wichtiger ist.

Aber dennoch eine klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits

very well made cable and the connection shows its gettign 3.3gbs so plenty fast. but the connection does not stay running the second you get into a game. it might last a minute or maybe 5 minutes, bought it mainly to use for beatsaber to get ride of any latancy but when you start to play a song and it just randomly disconnects in the middle of a song. its not great or fun. i have tryed everything online that everyone has said to try to fix the issue. but no luck, airlink/Virtual Desktop. is more stable of a connection. ontop of it there is not enough power to keep the headset charged for much longer then the battery can do. you might get an extra 30 minutes if lucky, i will keep trying every now and again to see if i can get it to work right..but as it stands its not worth the money when airlink is free and virtual desktop goes on sale for cheaper then the cable
