Yea this is a must for every oculus user I’ve been playing gorilla tag for 1 hour straight and sweating so much and i didnt get any fog into my headset but one problem is it’ll stick to ur face sometimes so it isnt that good but when u get used to it its gonna be way comfier

Everything is mostly good, its perfect for wide faces and if you wear glasses, the glasses will fit nicely compared to stock mask where it feels narrower.

The main issue imo is it doesnt come with glasses spacer to add some space between lenses and glasses and your eyes, it would be nice if the stock glasses spacer fits (it does not and its mentioned in the package description) it would have been great if they included one in the package though.

The foam doesn't fit very well, it is too big. It needs a spacer if you wear glasses (the oculus spacer does not work with this) and the glue on the velcro got unstuck in a day... The foam is not as good as the oculus one, it's too soft.
I bought hoping it would solve my issues but ended up with more.

Edit: changed the review from 1 to 3 starts, since the support team got in touch with me to try solve the issues, they promised to release a compatible spacer in the future and improve the velcro issue.

I will update this review again once they release the spacer and can try again with my glasses on.

They have sent me the new version with the new spacer and I can say the experience is so much better, velcro wasn't an issue anymore and the spacer is perfect for people using glasses like me.

I bought this instead of the updated "fitness" version as I thought the updated one was ridiculously over-priced at £46. However this version is not fit for purpose - it causes more lens fogging as breath gets funneled into the headset, and as well as lens fogging it creates more heat from the breath. Also the light leakage flap does not prevent light leakage. Overall this product is not fit for purpose. I'll either try a competitor 's version of wait for the improved kiwi version to drop to a semi-reasonable price. I've already bought the overpriced kiwi lens adapters, improved large controller grips, power bank strap, and improved elite strap so they've had more than enough money out of me as it is.

My original facial interface for the Oculus 2 came with the new silicone cover (that was offered to some as a 'recall'). There was nothing wrong with it as such; it was comfortable, fitted well, didn't cause any irritation etc., etc. But there was/is no ventilation with it, and within minutes of putting the headset on, regardless of playing an energetic or relaxed game, I'd be trying to sweat my own bodyweight out through my face.

After a little research, I opted for this KIWI facial interface as it seemed to have the best ventilation vs light leaks.

I was not disappointed. After a slight faff of attaching the velcro backed leatherette surround to the actual interface (had to do it several times to get it equal) it fits very well. It's very comfortable as there seems to be a thicker foam surround (than the original) and therefore you can 'squish' it onto your face for a more positive fit.

My only bugs are:
1. The silicone 'nose flaps' which to be fair are great at keeping out light leaks, feel a little too stiff, so that I can feel then pressing on my nose all the time. Perhaps these will loosen up a bit over time. this is only a minor gripe though.
2. The original glasses spacer is not compatible with this interface. Currently I can get away without glasses, but this is something to bear in mind.

The best part, and the entire reason I bought this however, was for the ventilation. This I'm glad to say is excellent. I was doubtful how much different a passive set of vents could make (i.e. no fans/forced air etc.), but it really is worlds apart. I can have the headset on for ages and there's no sweating at all (apart from my general lack of fitness). Not even any slight steaming up of the lenses. A huge improvement over the original, and in my opinion, well worth the money.

Hope this review can help some of you make an informed choice.

I was hoping this would make it more comfortable wearing the VR headset, sadly I still end up with red marks on my face and over time it becomes uncomfortable, although it no longer fogs up inside, well I have yet for that to happen with this product, it pushes on my nose (could be a VR design issue) but those rubber flaps keeps ending up pushing inside instead of on my nose.

The price is ok, but could of been better a bit lower, but overall its ok'ish.

I had an infestation of mice when my patio door glass smashed when I tried to open the door last summer. During the delay while a worker arrived to board up the opening, a pregnant mouse or some mice sneaked into my house without me noticing.

It turned out to be three mice, and I let them out using a humane trap. However, it amazes me the number of things they chewed, including my Oculus Quest 2 face pad.

I found this model a good replacement, easy to fit and comfortable to wear. The glasses spacer is effective (I haven’t been able to see clearly past the end of my nose since childhood, so I have fairly chunky glasses). Again, this is intuitive and easy to fit on the Quest 2.
