The only caveat been that there are not that that many good VR games on mobile VR - that is just the reality of it. I basically got this device so that I can watch Youtube and Netflix videos on a "larger screen" when traveling. For that it works fantastically.
Just remember you will want to plug your phone in when possible because VR eats through you phones battery life. From full power to dead takes about 2 - 2.5 hours, at least on a S9+ at any rate.
The only minor complaint is that when in VR you lose the controller all the time. You can't see anything, so you'r groping around for it, and you'll lose track of your rotation pretty fast, so you'll be groping in the wrong place more often then not. The controller does come with a slot for a wrist strap, but one isn't included in the box so you will have to supply one yourself, not a big hassle as they cost nothing, but it would be nice to have one included.
The reason it doesn't get a 5 star rating is simply because it lacks a heatsink, a vent exists on the devcase to stop your phone from over heating, your phone will get hot but it is far enough away from your face that you don't notice. The inclusion of a heatsink would make this vent far more effective. It is probably not important but the presence of one would make me more comfortable.
