No soy un experto en pilas, pero este es el resumen de mi experiencia y lo que aprendí con estas:

1. Me dejé llevar por la marca, lo que en esta ocasión no fue lo mejor ya que Energizer hizo sacrificios importantes para poder bajar el precio de estas pilas. Explico esto en el punto 2.
2. Estas pilas son de 2,500 mAh (mili amperes por hora), que es la cantidad de energía que la pila puede entregar en una hora. Para el consumidor normal esto no significa nada, pero después de investigar, vi que hay pilas D que entregan 3,000 o incluso 4,000 mAh. Entonces esto puede explicar por qué el precio de las pilas es tán bajo.
3. Esto podría ser un problema o no. Todo depende del equipo con el que se vaya a usar, por lo que hay que revisar el instructivo o las especificaciones técnicas para saber cuanta energía va a consumir. Si no estás seguro de esto tal vez lo mejor sea no tomar riesgos y comprar un pila de mayor capacidad, aunque en mi caso no hubo problema.
4. Vi algunos comentarios que decían que no funcionan con boilers. Yo justamente las instalé en un boiler y funcionan perfectamente, ya tengo tres semanas con ellas y no me han dado problemas. Tal vez las personas que tienen problemas es porque usan un boiler que requiere más energía eléctrica para funcionar.

Les doy 4 estrellas porque están bien, si no quieres gastar tanto, pero no son para todos.

Don't bother. I, like others, was fooled by the name and expected a quality product. They weight next to nothing and will scarcely run the toy they were purchased for. They have been returned and I have learned to read specs more carefully... or at all in this case.

Compre estas lamparas para un calentador de agua que funciona con baterias en vez de piloto automatico. La parte decepcionante es que las baterias solo duran una semana (en promedio, una pila regular me duraba 3 meses). Asi que tengo que estar recargando la pila los viernes. No se si estas baterias salieron malas o eso es lo que deberia durar... No me impresionó su funcionamiento, a pesar del ahorro que debería generar a mi bolsillo.

I really wish I looked at the MAH before buying. I figured Energizer is a reputable brand, but was disappointed to learn that these are essentially AA batteries crammed in a shell. They even feel light. Please research your needs before you buy. I think Energizer did this to conform to it's own chargers, but these batteries don't last long.

After an off brand D cell battery died after one charge cycle I decided to replace the whole set of four with a name brand battery to avoid issues like that. These batteries don't have their capacity clearly stated in the description (I had a quick browse to double check, it may be there if you look better, but it isn't obvious) and they are a big let down.

Not thinking anything of it I took all four batteries out of their packaging, two together at a time, to give them their initial charge. When I picked one up individually to put it in the charger I realized just how light this battery is. Upon inspection I found out this is only a 2500mah battery!

Attached is a photo of the Energizer next to a GP AA battery I bought in 2007. It had a higher initial capacity than this battery. An AA from 2007! (Which I still have because it still works.)

I took them out of the package, but I'm still going to see if I can return these batteries. Without a clear warning in the listing about this battery's abysmal capacity this is effectively a scam.

Useless product.
