This is a Dollar Store kind of item. Absolutely unimaginable that anybody charge this kind of money for something so cheaply made.
On top of this, the instructions are ambiguous to the point of being useless. When trying to determine if my light was defective or not, I had to try about a dozen different battery configurations simply because the diagram in the instructions does not clearly indicate which way the battery compartment goes in. Seems like such a small problem, but when you consider that the labelling for the batteries themselves is also unclear, it makes for an incredibly frustrating experience.
In the end, I can only conclude that the light I received is defective because every variation of battery installation I have tried has failed. I’d normally be mostly okay with a defective product - it happens. But the time I’ve wasted trying all the different battery configurations has guaranteed that I will be returning this product for a refund, not an exchange.
Cheaply made product, ambiguous instructions, and ultimately a light that doesn’t work. Amazon should really start allowing zero star reviews.
