What is included in this service?
The rental amount includes the rental duration, delivery and collection of the selected car and third party auto insurance.
What are the other similar car models I might receive?
You will either receive a Kia Picanto, Chevrolet Spark or a Mitsubishi Attrage
What does insurance cover?
By default, all cars are insured (3rd party), in case of an accident and you provide us with a green police report there won’t be any charges. However, if the accident is caused by your side and you receive a red police report, an excess insurance charge will be applied. Depending on the type of the car and the extent of the damage, the excess amount will range from AED200 to AED1500. Select full insurance option if you want full coverage and to avoid any excess amounts.
What should I do if I want to add any add-ons post booking the order?
If you want to increase the scope of your service, please discuss the changes and the cost difference with the service provider. You may pay the additional amount in person to the professional after the car rental service is completed. Note: Our Happiness Guarantee program only applies to services that are booked and paid in full on Amazon.ae.
How is the car rental service priced?
The service is priced according to the type of cars, duration of the rental and whether comprehensive/full insurance is added.
Is there a limit on mileage?
Yes, there is a limitation on mileage depending on the days you have rented the car. Daily limit is 300 km, Weekly is 1,750 km and Monthly is 5,000 km. After these limits each extra KM will be charged additionally depending of the type of car rented.
Do I need to pay any security deposit?
We do not charge any security deposit.
Do I need to come and pick up my vehicle?
No. The service provider will deliver the car to your location on the booked starting day and pick it up once your rental duration is over.
What happens if a car I booked is unavailable?
Whenever a car you booked is unavailable, the service provider will work towards providing another car within the same booked category (i.e. hatchback or medium sedan). However and in the case where another car within the same category is unavailable, you will receive a free upgrade and be provided with a car under the following category.
Any important information that I need to provide prior to my car collection appointment?
The provider will need to obtain copies of your Emirates ID, Driver’s License, Passport Visa page and credit/debit card front side (no CVV required). This is in line with RTA and governmental requirements. Once your booking is placed, the service provider will reach out to you and request for the documents copies.
Why do I need to provide a copy of the front side of my credit card?
As per the RTA, this is a requirement for any car rental service in the UAE and will only be used to deduct traffic fines, Salik, damage, rental duration extension, insurance excess or any pending expenses you incur.
What is the rental duration?
The rental is on a 24hrs basis. The car rental period will be automatically scheduled to end on the last day of your rental period at the same hour the car was delivered at on the first day. Additional hours will incur a full day extra fee.
Do I need to pay for fuel?
At the time of return of the car you need to return with the same level of fuel as delivered. Otherwise, fuel plus service fee will be charged. At the time of vehicle collection post the rental duration, the fuel level has to be the same level as when the car was delivered. Otherwise, an additional AED20 plus the fuel cost will be charged.
How do I guarantee the car I rented is in good condition?
Our Pros make sure to follow a specific check list prior to delivering a car to a customer. These include checking the brakes, AC system, oil levels & condition, tires, fuel level, performing a test drive, sanitizing the car, etc... Moreover, once a car has been collected from a customer post the booked rental duration, it is sent to an automotive garage for thorough inspection and performing any services required. Lastly, you will be requested to inspect the car and sign a form that captures the car condition at delivery, to guarantee the condition of the car delivered.
