I have been using this vacuum for 1 year now and I have noticed a significant decrease in the suction power. My flat ate also got the same on and hers is also weaker now. It still works pretty well, but the power gets weaker over time. Also cleaning the filter is a hassle because you have to wash it and let it dry, and then at some point you will have to purchase a new one.

I like this product and serving the purpose very well. The suction strength is superb and is very light weight making it easy to handle / manage. The only drawback the length of the cord is very short and if you have big rooms then better to order an extension cord separately.

I love this thing.
For such a small device- it’s suction power is MIND BLOWING.
Be warned: It’s perfect for hard floors- most my flat is either laminate or tile... and for that it works wonders...

This Hoover is perfect for the following:
1) you have a small apartment
2) if u don’t mind having a cord on ur vaccum
3) you have 90-95% hard floors.

I can’t say the same for if u have a lot of carpet. Not saying it doesn’t work, becuase it does, it’s just a lot more work.
If u have majority carpet in ur flat- this is not the vacuum for u... it’s much too hard to use and does not easily glide back and fourth. It will only work on carpet if you vaccum in a pulling towards you motion- and get ready to use some muscle.
I have 5 carpets in my flat and it doesn’t bother me too much becuase majority of the rest of the flat is hard flooring... so worth the little extra effort on the carpet areas.

Suction is honestly second to non. I’m SO SO SO glad I didn’t get the dyson V11 which is what I had my eye on... but my mates talked me out of it and told me to give this one a shot.

*also worth mentioning, cable/ wire on this is a little short. It works for both my flats because they are quite small, but for a large space, you’d most def need an extension cable.

This product is cheap but it should still work. There is no rotation brushes or wheels so although yes, it's great suction, ONLY on a hard surface, NOT on carpet as it needs to be pushed and it's impossible, and you must clean the whole thing after every use thoroughly or it doesn't work next time. Not exactly the handy 'go to' little vacuum cleaner I hoped for or needed. Astonishingly short cord too? No-one has a room that small and I live in a very small property. So very disappointed

Compact, light weight and easy to use. Suction is adequate as is the cylinder capacity - but I live in a flat and have only hardwood and a couple of loop style old style carpets.
For the price I think its a good product, it doesn't look cheap although it is lightweight and its easy to detach the extension handle for upright hovering but also easy to put the nozzle on for the hand held mode if hoovering corners or crevices.
I'm doubtful it would be adequate for shag or thick tufted carpets, but if you have thinner styles and hardwood it works well.
Obviously the more you have to hoover the more frequently you will have o empty the cylinder, but for myself, in a flat, with no pets, I hoovered the whole area without needing to empty the cylinder.
From having read other reviews I believe I will clean the filter with a small brush to stop it getting compacted with dust or hair.
