I ignored all the reviews and ordered a size 7 as I'm a standard UK size 7. After 3 attempts, I got a comfortable fit with an 8.5 (42.5). The reason for this is that the trainers are very well cushioned and padded so this takes up room in the shoe.
These are the BEST trainers I've had and are highly rated as a top trainer on the Runners World guide. I have plantar fasciitis for years and in the 3 weeks that I've been wearing these, the pain has stopped (I'm not a doctor, this is just my experience). I walk 12km a day and my feet are supported, comfortable and there's no ache in them. Highly recommend.
