We as human beings, set a culture in the shopping era, we made thing look good or bad, We look at the price a significant proof of quality; for example, if we judge a product from its price, if the price is high it means the product has quality due to the price, but AmazonBasics has proven that concept to be not right. I was looking for ethernet cable, and as I mentioned early I always look at those product with high price thinking of they must be great. But thought to give AmazonBasics a try, the price was amazingly affordable, and this is my second item made by Amazon, and I'm genuinely blown away by the quality and the performance. All Internet Cables are the same, except some of them looking gorgeous, but the price will shred your beloved wallet. I got this cable because I want to connect my Smart TV using ethernet cable, and connect my Mac mini to my Wifi routers. And there where AmazonBasics' magic works. My TV stream Netflix like a charm, and My downloads never get interrupted in my Mac Mini. I started having faith in Amazon own products, Please look after your wallet and don't waste your money in something not worth it.

A uselful gigabit patch cable

Nothing exceptional about this item. It is a simple patch cable that works well. I use this cable to connect my ISP's router to the ONT (Optical Network Terminator) that my full fibre Internet connection is delivered through. The ONT will always be mounted on an external wall but for most homes the router will need to be towards the centre of the home to ensure adequate WiFi coverage. Consequently, the cable running between the two will limit the maximum speed of your Internet connection if it is does not meet the required standard.

The Amazon cable came packed in a simple brown, card box that protected it during transit. The box was of an adequate size to ensure that the cable was not wound too tight, avoiding the risk of damage to the wires within it. Running a speed test on my computer demonstrates that this cable is capable of delivering the full 500mbps service that I am paying for, so I am completely satisfied with it.

Cheap Chinese cable. Replacing the Amazon basics cables with actual cat6 cables fixed our network issues.

Had a few in as patch cables while testing our POE gear before running the permanent lines through the walls (aka test before install). Could not get expected speeds, all of the Amazon cables failed testing.
