This jewellery stand is much larger than I had anticipated, and heavy too. I knew it wouldn't be much to look at from the pictures and had planned to put it on the glass shelf in my wardrobe but now think it will be too heavy for that, it might have to go on display which is a shame as it is basic and uninspiring to look at and doesn't add any design aesthetic to the room!

The bars on the stand are made from what looks like plastic coated steel on a lacquered mdf base, with a lightweight steel drawer. The materials feel sturdy.

There are a couple of things about the design of this that don't work for me. Firstly, the top two bars, which are for hanging necklaces on, are completely smooth and don't have rivets in them so you can't space out necklaces. This is a pain as there is nothing to stop them running into one another and tangle. Secondly, the fact that the bars are horizontal means you can't see the pendent on the necklace face-on, you only get a side view, which is a shame if you want to display your necklaces, but also makes it difficult to see and choose which one you wish to take off and wear.

For me, this jewellery stand is neither practical nor pretty so isn't something I would recommend, even though it is priced reasonably, you will likely find better at a similar price.

Tall jewellery display/storage unit with three metal bars and one small drawer that's quite loose fitting. One of the metal bars has perforations across to hang earrings while the other two bars are a solid construction and will hold anything from bangles, beads etc. To me, just a personal opinion, it's a heavy, bulky item that looks nothing like an item for holding pretty jewellery but; it's certainly solid and heavy enough not to slide around when you open/close the drawer. Arrives in one piece and doesn't require assembly.

Comes ready assembled and it is bigger than it looks in the photo, I thought, it's around 43cm tall. If, like me, you don't always have time to go rooting around in your jewellery boxes for the pieces you want to wear each day you can pop them on this stand for the week ahead. For a young person, this might be the only jewellery box they need for starters. I've put one necklace on each side of the 2 higher bars and, as you can see, none of them reach the base; I think they are around 16 - 18" in length but you could easily put a much longer necklace on the top bar. It is well constructed and solidly made, it would easily hold heavier pieces, such as costume jewellery without falling over, it's substantial and heavy enough for that. The drawer is bigger than I thought it would be too, easily enough room for a watch as well as other bits and bobs. I like that the bottom bar has holes in for earrings but you could also use it for choker length necklaces instead or as well. I'm amazed at how empty it looks with 4 necklaces and 3 pairs of earrings on it, I seemed like I had way more little boxes piled up on my dressing table than it looks on this stand, and this stand looks way more stylish than a pile of boxes. My current jewellery boxes are full so having a place to put my newer acquisitions and then to be able to circulate what I am going to wear is brilliant for a jewellery addict like myself. I stopped smoking just over 21 years ago and I've been spending my ciggy money (1999 prices, no inflation, sadly) on jewellery ever since so you can imagine that I really need this. I love it and am happy to have it on my dressing table.

I love this jewelry stand that not only looks good on my dresser but holds and displays my jewewlry nicely. I like the different heights/tiers for necklaces and bracelets, there is enough space for items to stay separate and not get tangled. The little draw at the bottom is great for earrings and/or rings, smaller items. It's study and weighted at the bottom so that it doesn't tip over easily. The white and silver-look of the stand is really elegant and it looks great.
