Simple, Versatile Set-Up

The pen sets up quickly and easily (no tools required). Its eight metal panels come pre-connected with welded metal hinges to create one long piece that unfolds accordion-style. Arrange the pen into the shape of a circle, square, rectangle, or other shape, and then clip the two end panels together using the four metal thumb clips (included).

The panels can also be used to corner off a section of the room or to keep pets away from off-limit areas. Or, connect the pen to a metal wire crate (not included) to create a wonderful combination of cozy resting space and room to roam.

Height is very good for our golden retriever. It is also spacious that he could move around with his bed inside. Just need to place it in a corner and put some weights on the side to keep it sturdy. But if to be placed outside, it comes with a metal pegs to keep in place. For the opening. can easily open and close it too.

It takes a lot of space, and I don’t think it was worth buying because I got it for my cat who was giving birth. So maybe I’m not being fair cause it just wasn’t for me, however, the metal is strong, if you were getting it for a puppy, sp I think its a great idea, because I don’t think puppies can jump as high as cats. So its good, I am gonna give it 3 stars just to be fare, and it was not for me.

First of all, the product does seem to be of good quality and it does work well, at least outdoors (where we are using ours). As several others have already pointed out, though, the product description is flat out WRONG on this!! One (1) set of panels configured in a "square" formation would only equal 16 sqft, and even if you went with a perfect "octagonal" shape, you would still only increase the square footage by a little over 3 sqft...up to just over 19 sqft.....no where near the 64 sqft that they are advertising! :-(

We've already purchased five (5) of these, and they are working well, but after starting with just two (2) sets, in a pseudo-octagonal shape, we quickly realized that we probably couldn't do long, straight sections of fencing, as we expanded, as the added length of the sides quickly diminished the stability of the fence along the long sections.....even when using the included stakes! So, we ended up zig-zagging the fencing, making sure that we created small angles with each panel......nothing severe, maybe just a 10-20 degree angle every panel, or so, but it seemed to be enough to allow us to attach all five (5) sets together into one much larger pen....not a square or an octagon, but something in between, with zig-zagged edges.

For anyone who's interested (but doesn't want to do the math), here are the areas you would be able to achieve combining the sets, using a "square" configuration.....
1 = 16sqft
2 = 64sqft
3 = 144sqft
4 = 256sqft
5 = 400sqft

And, here are the approximate "octagonal" areas you would acthieve....
1 = 19sqft
2 = 77sqft
3 = 174sqft
4 = 309sqft
5 = 482sqft

Davvero soddisfatto del mio acquisto sia per il prezzo (40€) che per la qualitá che per la sua utilità. Nei negozi ne avevo visti simili, ma più piccoli e molto più costosi.

Mi è arrivato così come lo vedete in foto, gli otto pannelli tutti da 60x60 si chiudono su se stessi così da poterlo trasportare facilmente in qualsiasi occasione. Ogni pannello è unito all’altro da dei supporti snodabili in modo da poter dare qualsiasi forma al nostro recinto. E in più ci sono anche dei picchetti se lo si volesse montare su un terreno.

Io ho scelto la versione con la porta, ma si potrebbe avere anche senza con 5€ in meno, ma la porticina la trovo utilissima perchè il cagnolino così puó decidere di entrare e uscire quando vuole e non essere messo dentro tipo punizione. L’altezza dei pannelli è di 60cm, ottimo per cagnolini piccoli e medi. La comodità di questo recinto è che possiamo dare qualsiasi forma vogliamo o addirittura c’è la possibilità di aprire i tre ganci di sicurezza e ottenere un recinzione tutta aperta o chiudere un angolo o chiudere una zona qualsiasi oppure tantissimi altri modi in base alle nostre necessità.

Ho acquistato questo articolo per quando devo allontanarmi da casa e ho la necessità di lasciare il cagnolino in casa, ma non posso lasciargli tutte le stanze a disposizione.

After having spent the past 2 weeks trying to work at home whilst also managing puppy chaos & wire biting Etc., wrapping this around the crate has given us both the space we need whilst not being cruel.

I’m so happy! She seems better behaved & calmer already too. :)

Worth mentioning the feet are super well designed for carpet. The thing is also surprisingly solid!

Update: the door is on an end of the panel set, and the set is connected in a way you can’t easily disconnect and reorder panels which can be a problem if you want door access. Using a pair of needle nose pliers I trashed the connectors and split the set in two, allowing me to reorder the set with the door in the middle. The way I’m using this means it works a treat. Was easy enough to do.

We bought this play pen for our new puppy thinking we could pop her in there occasionally if she needed to be kept safe while we did something, it's huge! While it didn't really fit in the living room, once the Christmas tree was down and out older dog has adjusted to the trauma of a new sister, we didn't need it in there, but it's shape and the way it's constructed means we can fit it into almost any space, it doesn't have to be a hexagon, it can be a square or a rectangle, or as in my photo, a whatever-shape-fits in your area. We use it in the office to keep her safe after breakfast while she sleeps and we work. Our older dog visits her like she's in puppy jail. Sometimes you buy something and it's kind of ok but you low-level regret spending the money, and sometimes you buy something and can't imagine how you'd have managed without it. This is the latter. Very happy with it. The gate doesn't really open very well but it's step-overable.

Edit July 2021, the gate works just fine, it was just a bit stiff when it was new, also, puppy still sleeps in this for a couple of hours every work morning (3 days a week). Still one of my best ever purchases.
