I bought similar item from another online site. That version has 4 trays held together by a single vertical wooden rod. It is as sturdy as the day is long. I use that one for earrings and other simple jewelry and it has been a wonder. I've been wanting more for an abundance of craft materials stored in a very limited space.
I was happy when I saw the price of this and what I believed was more "real estate" per tray.
The trays are indeed substantially bigger than the one I already own. I was thrilled.
However, instead of each tray stacked over a single central post, each of these trays has a vertical protrusion on top of which the next one rests.
Consequence: Less stability. While in the process of transferring some small beads and engaging the next tray, the previous tray (perhaps held slightly heavier group of glass bits?) toppled over. Beads everywhere.
Disappointing.
Personally I am still glad to have it although I use it with much more caution. I was hoping to buy more but am doubtful that I will. It adds an element of tension.
