Why spend an arm and a leg for speaker cable comprised of 100% pure copper sourced from Mount Eribor, mined by Durin's Folk and smelted in a furnace heated by bellows made from the hides of mongolian yaks! I wont be able to tell the difference in the sound quality between that and the AmazonBasics speaker wire!
Used for an additional pair of Jamo ceiling speakers and up to the task at a very competitive price. Read the technical reviews on websites better qualified to comment than me!

When I buy a cable that is copper colored, I expect a copper cable; when I buy a golden ring, I also expect gold and not gold-plated aluminium.
It's copper plated to LOOK like copper. Why the official product description excludes this fact can only be construed as willful misrepresentation by omission. Sorry Amazon, but you failed on this one. I am not an audio purist who claims to have bionic ears and hear the difference between pure copper or otherwise, but just try to solder it to a terminal or a jack. It may sort of stick, but just skin deep. The metal inside can NOT be soldered! I should have bought a mains extension cord instead for the same money, though not as long.
However, what really strikes me as idiotic in the product description is how the plastic insulation supposedly helps the signal quality. Now there is a claim the consumer can do without! Were you high when you wrote it? Or did you just copy what the Chinese manufacturer said about it?

Ich nutze das Kabel für meine Boxen mit einer Kabellänge von max. 4m pro Box.
Die Qualität ist ausgezeichnet, wobei es ja nur verkupferte Kabel sind, welche einen Alukern haben.
Merken tue ich davon nichts, allerdings sollte man mit der Länge nicht übertreiben, da sonst der Wiederstand höher wird als mit reinem Kupfer.

Don't get fooled by monster cables, great marketing team they have. This is great, I have 2 Paradigm 7.1 setups in my house and these cables work like a charm. Had a friend tried to convince me that other cables where better, but you can't tell the difference. Don't get fooled, sometimes you don't get what you pay for, and these cables compare with other $100 brand no problem.

Just my 2 cents. I spend money where it's needed, like speakers (Still lots to say about those), but cables don't have to cost an arm and a leg.
